Hi Potato Talkies, big salute to both you, the way you explain is commendable always. I mean every thing is beyond the details that no other channel explains.
But my concern is about the job offer. As you said in the video that till now you have not received any job offer or letter. So basically what is the reason.? Like in every Canada program IRCC they ask for the offer letter but no company is ready to give any job. I by myself trying for this since 2 months, but no response. So till the date my big query is that how to get job or job offer? Hence I wish and request you to search on it while reaching Canada, so at least we can come at point that shall we get job offer or not?
God bless you both, wishing you a great success ahead. Thanks

Thank you for the explanation. However, the gift deed sample contains "standing to the credit of my account number". And, you have stated that its the receiver's account but "my" denotes the father or the donor in the statement. So, if you could clarify the issue, it would be very helpful.

It is great information for people who have crossed the level-1 milestone (ITA). One observation, the giftdeed format which you have shown has an error(correct me if iam wrong)..pls see line 5th of gift deed which says "standing to credit of my account ****" should be "standing to credit of my son account *****".. Pls clarify if my understanding is correct or not.

If I am applying from India and the funds are in a Chinese Bank Account (since my previous employment there) that has no presence in India. What am I supposed to do?
    1. Should I get a statement from the Chinese Bank while applying from India? That would require my presence in China, but due to lockdown I am in India.
    2. Should I transfer funds to Indian Bank Account?
    3. Should I open an NRE Account with Indian Bank and the get a proof of funds?
    4. Should I go to China on a tourist/business visa and apply from there.
Since, you were working in Hong Kong, I was hoping you might have an answer to this.

Amazing! Potato Couples are just awesome.
Just, needed an explaining. If someone is having a personal loan whose EMI is been deducted, say from Bank A and as mentioned the Bank letter should not mention of any any debt of an individual.
So, can I open a new Bank account (say Bank B) and show proof of funds of last six months from Bank B account. Additionally, can they still trace whether if any personal loan or any other loans are running in the individual name after showing Bank statement from Bank B?
Please clarify us on this point. Thanks

Hi, I have a question about POF exemption.
*Who does not need proof of funds
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if
-you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
-you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program.*
What does this AND signifies in the second point? I have a job offer at the moment but I am not authorized to work in Canada. After receiving an ITA, do I need to show POF?
    Thank you

    Dear,
    Two questions:
    1st question:
    I have a loan from Bank A.........
but, I make a proof fund letter from Bank B.....
Obviously, Bank B will write on his letter head that this customer has no debt or loan from our bank.
So, this is ok for me or not....Bank B letter will be fine.
    Question 2:
I must need to show my debt or loan.
    Please guide .... Thanks
    2.

Hi Potato Talkies !!....the video was very informative...i have one query, please do answer it as i am new to immigration process ( as per my CRS score 440, i may need a PNP); 1. When exactly we need Proof of Funds document i.e., at the time of making profile 1st time for PNP/ITA ? do Case Officer cross verify these Proof of Funds ? For instance, if i keep amount in a bank for 6 months, get the bank statement, then proceed to make profile for PNP and later ITA & During my process with, i suddenly take out some cash from the account will my ITA application be rejected ?

I have got a gift from my dad and made an FD of it, got my gift deed and affidavit in place as well. I wanted to know if I make a similar bank letter like yours for my FDs, do I need to provide my last six months bank statement or the fixed deposit copies alone would suffice?

Should I get a gift deed from my wife or will a signed and notarized affidavit from my phone permitting me to use my funds suffice?

So if I get an ITA, should I liquidate my money from the mutual funds or should I liquidate them when I am making my Express entry profile(In case of PNP where funds should be 3 months old)? Also, what documents do I need to add with my POF to show that all the money liquidated is mine? I am sorry if this is a very stupid question but I was not able find the answer anywhere.

  • @afrinkazi4814
    @afrinkazi4814 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I keep following your channel. You do a great work on keeping up with the latest information from immigration perspective. And hence, I'm taking the time out to write this big review to ensure your viewers get precise information. Although this video is over a year ago, I suppose the contents are still valid. Nevertheless, I wanted to reconfirm about the valid proof of funds.
You mention that the average of last six months should be above the minimum set proof of funds. Although, that would be nice, I suppose the requirement is to have the current closing balance (not 6 months' average) as equal to or more than the applicable Proof Of Funds amount. And practically that makes a big difference in maintaining the account.
For example, someone might have the average of last 6 months meeting the criteria, however, the closing balance might be less. Do you think that would be fine to proceed with?
On the other hand, someone may not have been able to maintain the average of last 6 months above the minimum amount but has probably maintained the required balance for a couple of months only. Should this person be worried about the last 6 months' average?
I suppose you could investigate this a little more and correct the contents of the video if needed. And while you're at it, I think it would be good to let people know that sudden inflow of cash after getting ITA may need additional information about the source (if it's not Gift Deed). Like, if someone sells their car or jewellery and deposits that money into the account. What sort of documentation should be produced along with the bank statement?
Cheers! Keep up the good works.

      1. Yes it can be used.. though I diluted it into my account and then used it.
      2. No, it should be fine as long as it doesn’t show on your bank letter

it's really informative and helpful video and quite satisfying all my queries. only one thing, I need to ask if i change my Bank (i like your expression _screw them, and it's TRUE, some banks are really pain the neck)
then how I will prove my new bank statement that this amount is 6 months old.
OR do I have to attach statement of accounts and cheque from my previous screwed up bank.
I am actually having trouble as I have fdš in post office and getting pissed off with them as they don't have letter head and donot want to write anything like no debts , cannot write indian money converted to canadian dollars , I mean the list is long.....
what do you suggest me the best.
anyway, your video on this subject is awesome.

I'm working in Banking for last 16 Year's. For Proof of Funds, i have followings options available.
    1) I have funds in my Bank account which is more than 1 Year old.
    2) Provident Funds and same is clearly mentioned and accumulated in each month salary slip.
    3) In addition to this, i am also entitlement of gratuity as per Bank Policy, which is equal to last full basic multiple by number of years work, to be paid on end of the service or at the time of resignation.
so whenever, employee leave the organization, it will be paid like PF.
Now, My Question is that "Gratuity is included as Proof of Funds"?

If the funds in my bank savings account are less than 6 months old, will they still be sufficient to qualify as proof of funds.
(to clarify the amount is more than that required by ircc but has not been in my account for more than 3 months)
Additionally I don't think gift deed would be possible since my bank statement would clearly show that the money is from my salary and redemption of my mutual fund.

    1. Is there a thresh hold that I need to maintain for my average bank balance?
    2. Once I have generated the required amount in the FD's do I need to transfer them back to my bank account?
    3. If all of my amount is present in FD's is there a need to show my average bank balance i.e bank letter you have mentioned in the video?

Hello....lovely videos indeed ! Well am a single applicant and wanted to apply for Canada Express Entry ...now this point of settlement fund is something which is very concerning for me....like for a single applicant it's almost 7.35 lacs so does it need to be in my account for past three months from the date of SINP application submit ? Do they consider these documents like - LIC, SIP and Gift deed of House which is registered in my name ? The average of the bank accounts definitely won't be 7.35 lacs for past six months. I do not have any FD or Bonds . So , how can this be solved as in should I take a loan against my property and then do a fd for that or so ? Shall I book a slot if that sounds better to discuss in detail pls ?

    • @Potatotalkies
      @Potatotalkies  4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Potatotalkies yeah gift deed I was talking about gift deed of property as a whole not like money received from sold out property. I do not have the option of FD or bond or parents etc doing gift kind of support so was just wondering if accumulating salary and then showing that would be fine or not. In that case I would need three months to accumulate it for a single applicant and then wait for another six months so a total months from now till I can apply so that both six months and three months bank statement can be fulfilled if asked - am I calculating these the right way ? Please advise.
