Nice video. Just bought a used unit on eBay. I was the winning bidder and got it for $203 and $15 shipping. Great price compared to a new unit. I turned it on and everything seems to be working. Lots of snow outside so will have to wait till it gets warmer to check out the gauges on my heat pump. Thumbs up on your video.

Can the 557 work with wireless testo t probes?????
Can it vaccum past 500 microns? Is it like fieldpiece where it will change into microns on the display ?

just made the switch from field piece to testo. meter and gauges. only had issues with running a vacuum I figured out I need a Schrader core tool or a T for 3 connections, for my micron gauge and doing the leak search mode i havent figured out i got to the mode but not sure whats going on. subscribed and liked on FB. If you could make videos about that. would be great I figured out everything you showed in this video. any additional tips would be great

Do you still use these? I'm a first year apprentice and am looking for a set to as back up for my analogs. I can't choose between the sman380 and these.
Yes I do, they've been awesome. Your analogs will become your back up after using them

What's the difference between these and the 550? Besides a 4th hose
557 comes with a vac gauge and perhaps 550 may not be bluetooth compatible, but cant remember

I am looking at a testo 557 that is used. It has a small crack in the bottom right of the display. It is also missing the vacuum pickup. He wants $375 for it but it is unproven yet. It also comes with the case and one red hose and one yellow. It also powers up when the power button is pressed.
What do you think?
375 seems much for a cracked screen, what if it gets worse?

I don’t know why they don’t make them temp probes Bluetooth. Those probe so weak they go bad fast.

Ya they have all the technology they need to make that. We need to push them. Those temp probe $50 a piece not cheap.
