When motor runs @55 hz through VFD, motor will run more than rated current, what will be motor condition if it runs continuously??

please any one can answer : does the output voltage of VFD vary from 0 to the rated voltage of the motor ? . we all know that if we apply let’s say 50Volts to a 400Volts motor, this motor ain’t gonna work . right ?
