Knew exactly where you were! Walked that area a couple of times myself...that includes what you were saying about Gurney! Even bought a camera at President's Camera in the lower level at Gurney Plaza years ago...I still use it.

Walked along there last month - we stayed at the Bayview. Lots of little restaurants - pretty good. We also really enjoyed the beach bar/restaurant at the back of the Bayview... Frandy's.
