So much great information in a comprehensive tone ,and good since of humor . I will be back to watch all the other videos for sure .and share this channel... love it !
Hi there Rose! I can’t believe this lol. I used to live in both Vacaville and Fairfield and would come and get my plant starts from you! I’m now in Illinois zone 6, the Midwest, trying to start another herb garden from scratch and I just happen-chance and stumbled across your TH-cam videos. So lovely! I’ll definitely be following, even though I can no longer get to you and Soul Food Farms. Thanks for all you do and sharing the knowledge!
What an Amazing teaching. It’s been four years since you’ve produced this film. So you must be bored with that gorgeous top, so just throw it in an envelope and I will take care of it😉
I've been watching, learning and growing herbs for over 5 years now and I just wanted to let you know that your videos are the best out there. Thanks for sharing your wonderful knowledge. Much appreciated and I'm definately going to add some, if not all, of these herbs to my garden. 🥰❤
I just discovered your channel and wish I had seen it sooner. Herbs are my favorite plants, especially lavender. I appreciate your thoroughness, your humor, and your vast knowledge. I’ve finished watching the series now but will repeat it at least once, with a paper and pen to take notes. Thank you. I’m on the hunt now for more…. Oh yes, Colorado (Denver area) 5b with altitude and we just got another 4 “ of snow so it’s all about dreaming and planning.
i’m trying to start a medicinal herb farm been working hard on it for 2+ years, slow going with a full time job but a girl can’t help but dream. i love your videos you’re amazing 😻
I just found you today and I subscribe and I already watched 3 videos. 1,2, 3 and the 8 video which it was the first one was recommended to me, and I got hooked. I had the lemon verbena 7 years ago, I planted in the ground and it growed 6 feet, I trimmed it every year very heavily, I live in zone 7 ( Beaverton Oregon) but last year died on me. The main stalk was very woody about 4 inch width. I have no idea what killed it. Eventhoug I had plenty of leave I never thought of make a tisane out of it. I only love it because it smell so good. I missed it. The good thing is that I planted a few cuttings and they are growing nicely this year, I also bought 3 more new starters and growing nice too. This time I will not just keep one plant and I will make a tea out of it and I will mix them with other herbs. I love your videos.
Which fertilizers do you use for the Lemon Basil and the other herbs in general? Also, you could use the Indian Lemon grass for cooking if you braid it (twist it) and tie it into a nice little bundle like the Asian people do, then you just remove it from your pot once you're finished cooking your favorite dishes and/or soups. I also grow Lemon Balm and I LOVE it. It really helps my digestion too.
My favorite new TH-cam channel your information is so inspiring thank you so much
I truly enjoyed your lavender video, now I m going to have to go back to the beginning of the series since I stumbled upon your channel and subscribed
🙋🏽♀️ Me too! 👏🏽

I'm in Northern California and we get lots of snow. Don't forget California gets snow too in the mountains.

Love my lemon herbs
I mix dried lemongrass with my loose leaf moringa medicinal tea. No sugar or honey needed.
Lemon verbena is my fav herb too! But we must bring it in, one of the few herbs I grow indoors in winter here in Illinois.
Been loving this series, thank you.

Fantastic and well versed teacher, any chance you're selling herb seeds overseas?🤨

Such great information! We will be living near Prescott. If we plant lemon verbena and then insulate it with straw for winter will it come back?
Do you have a cookbook?
Is it better to dry herbs naturally than dehydrating?
The lemon catnip can you dry it?
