- With all the negative news surround Google and their AI products such as Gemini causing large intraday selloffs as we saw this week could this produce a generational buying opportunity for one of the so called Magnificent 7 stocks? we saw what happened to META over the last year as the stock sold off massively due to Zuckerberg's investment in VR and AI and how ferociously Meta stock has rebounded and even reached all time highs recently, can the same thing happen to google stock?

so many stocks gonna be on sale if that happens.
The google AI problem isn’t just that the pictures are silly. The problem is that the pictures are emblematic of the political bias in their products. No one really expects facebook to be factual. However, people do expect google to be factual because that’s the whole point of search:to get accurate answers to questions.
Google must decide what is more important to them: the reliability and quality of their products or their political ideology.
Congrats on the 2nd baby dylan & as for google tempted on buying more, do want more meta but not at that price & can see the market going down if apple loses its support

Question: What price is APPLE a buy, with the current sell off?
its tricky because if you look at p.e it should be half , if you look at how broke people are , less then that , but if you consider how much money is still floating around and that people keep buying the same seven to ten stocks , it could double just because its the most popular stock and based on no other metric . I would tred lightly and dollar cost average , a strange time to go all in , but who knows ?

Lol. I bought so much meta and atill think i should have sold everything and bought more meta (meta is now 30% of my position)
Google is buy and its easily going to run to 200$
However, i dont like how its run..too much waste..too much failure in their hardware department (pixel)

Dylan here- THough I bought more google I also don't like how they don't stick with ideas if there is bad press. Their entire cloud gaming segment is a good example
Li Liu has some google and Aswath Damodaran says that google is at a fair price. Catalyst ceo swap and a good AI product. But the risk is search going down and it's googles cash cow. Would buy at a crash but until then will stick to met coal.
I think it's very unlikely Meta will have a similar reaction to their AI
- Google has bad sentiment now, negative news about it blow up. Meta has good sentiment, so they'd likely to be buried.
- someone doing the same for the second time, is not shocking and click worthy news. No one will care.

If bing takes over then googl is doomed. They are behind in Ai, however they still hold a great share of the web traffic so if they get on track they are bound to excell
Agreed. That is part of the worry. I don’t see many folks beyond tech savvy people transitioning to ai powered search soon though.
@10:43 - The Apple Catalyst is having an "AI" chip *M-series inside new iPhones that can scan photos offline, and provide ai-image (un-blur, enhance, change clothing, etc). As a "camera" company, the Apple software is top-tier. And when Tim Cook ties into the Apple Subscription with iCloud+Ai - for photo AI models on-device (no-cloud-offline-privacy) that could be a 100mm addition to the monthly balance sheet. Will be interesting once developers get access to the APIs from Apple, they will create offline-ai apps for the new phones.
I hope Warren dumps some more Apple
