  • Rossland (#4): Rossland was the "Golden City" of British Columbia. From the depths of fabulous Red Mountain celebrated mines like the LeRoi, Centre Star, War Eagle, Sourdough Alley, to resplendent Columbia Avenue, there were few minings towns like it anywhere in B.C.

    I grew up in Trail. I have heard stories of the ore body, and that there is lots of ore still there, but technology to work in that super heated water does not yet exist.

    18:21 he say Spokane st it washing ton street looking at google mapping on main street corner look up looks nothing like and they have new front on the buildings....local history map suck not rail line and wagon roads any wear in BC.........on the maps to many Fire old buildings too Like picture Cumberland bc they cover up the Mine in Comox valley(or any were on Vancouver Island) but in the Crows-nest there still the and other areas.., and the USA names mean what Was Oragane State

      Ross. Yes...it is Washington st. On the immediate right is the Old Bank of Montreal building which survived all the fires.
