Thank you from Russia,St.Petersburg. Brilliant work and great video! I remembered my youth, 40 years ago at the Baltic plant in Leningrad, I began my career as an electrician in the construction of the cruiser.Best wishes from the bottom of my heart!
The Kirov's have always been one of my favorite of the Soviet warships, they are simply gorgeous. Thanks for the build, several techniques I've never seen before.
Man, those edges where water meets wood look so clean compared to cast resin. Beautifully done. I could watch entire videos of you just doing water effects.
Thank you for sharing your techniques! I don't usually build ship models, but the techniques you're teaching your viewers will translate into related areas quite nicely.
Just completed the very similar 1/700 Trumpeter Frunze kit. Quite a tricky build with many tiny parts, warped decks and almost unusable decals. You did a terrific job here.
Thank you for sharing your skills and methods for this project! I have never built a ship model in water like this, and am fascinated with how you created the water. It has an amazing look! Outstanding work.
The water effect's brilliant, and overcomes a problem with the usual putty/plaster method; it needs to be specular to look real, i.e; be as smooth as glass so it can reflect light in the right way. Foil achieves that.
Congratulations from the UK! I am an experienced modeller but very new to ship modelling / seascapes. I learned a ton of things from your approach so many thanks for posting this video. The tinfoil technique works very well. Good videography too - uncluttered background, clear commentary and good background music that does not distract.
Never seen that foil technique. Took me by suprise, amazing as always! P.S. Thank you for talking! Subtitles where hard to follow while also wanting to watch!
That water effect is amazing. Just like the precision and details of the build. Are you a micro-surgeon in your daily life? You could be with such fine control.
Amazing! So much PE and done so easily to great effect. Each time I watch your builds I learn something new...the water technique being this one. An awesome job.....thank you
Hello Rahmi. One has to admit that the Soviets had an excellent naval architecture school. I do believe they were at the begining (in the thirties) inspired by the Italian warships. Brilliant solution to make the water! Cheap and effective. I plan to steal your idea... 😎 Nice diorama! *** I've already said it: you are getting closer to the armoured vehicles... 🙂
putting on that decal on the flight deck would drive me crazy. I had a similar issue with a ship kit I made a years ago. Again I like what you did with making the ocean diorama.
Brilliant. Beautiful base beautiful ship. And outstanding photos. Maybe you could make a video how do you make photos of your models? How do you set light and camera. Looks like there is a lot of tricks how to make small models look big on the photo.

Thank you very much for your kind comment.
Wow you are so lucky.
SLAVA RUSSIA...greetings from Greece!

I'm really impressed with the tinfoil technique for your base. The water looks realistic.
Me too, i'll try it for smaller ships like destroyers to see how the result is.
Same here. Never seen it done before, and it looks fantastic
heffatheanimal pretty much all larger water scapes are done like that
The Kirov's have always been one of my favorite of the Soviet warships, they are simply gorgeous.
Thanks for the build, several techniques I've never seen before.
Jup, looks like a ww2 battleship without the large turrets
sadly when i hear kirov i think of giant armored blimps that can take hundreds of SAM missiles to kill and are always deployed by the dozen
@@AtrociousAK47 yeah Kirov Airship

Мужик МОЛОДЕЦ, руки растут из правильного места.ОЧЕНЬ КРАСИВО.
Забавно что в течении видео руки золотые меняются, с мужских волосатых на голые подростковые, интересно к чему бы это)

Mr Scale-a-ton, I'm going to try this technique right now, thank you so much, you are a genius. Much respect, from Adelaide, Australia.
The water looks fantastic ! Great job.
I really appreciate your craftsmen ship on these videos, I use to do models like these when I was younger with my grandfather.
The antennas look amazing
Amazing job! I'd never seen water texture done that way, it looks incredibly realistic. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Patagonia!
Wow, a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work.
Those waves, dude... Those waves... Incredible.
The ship itself is beautiful but that water is a work of art - superb.
Just completed the very similar 1/700 Trumpeter Frunze kit. Quite a tricky build with many tiny parts, warped decks and almost unusable decals. You did a terrific job here.
Model looks great and the water effect looks fantastic
INCREDIBLE WORK on the ship and the ocean base!
Нереально красиво и очень реалистично
Nice video. Nothing like seeing the real thing in the Atlantic Ocean.
Thank you for sharing your skills and methods for this project! I have never built a ship model in water like this, and am fascinated with how you created the water. It has an amazing look! Outstanding work.
Lovin the aluminum foil effects, keep up the Glorious work!
Высшая лига!!! Привет из Беларуси.
No Way!!....Hand painting that deck neatly is extraordinary...so is handling PE at 1/700!
OMG, so beutiful, the water look so real
The water effect's brilliant, and overcomes a problem with the usual putty/plaster method; it needs to be specular to look real, i.e; be as smooth as glass so it can reflect light in the right way. Foil achieves that.
I think the model company should use your boat's pictures on their box. Amazing work, love it, keep them coming.

An incredible good modelbuild
Диорама красивая, а море сделано очень реалистично. Супер! The diorama is beautiful, and the sea is made very realistic. Super!
Impressive technique for the water, I had only ever seen people pouring resin before
That’s a beautiful ship.
That's a good looking ship. You did a wonderful job on the water effect!!
I think one scale of this model speaks for itself, that you decided to build a model on such a small scale.
Very nice job, and you had some patience, to hand paint that deck
If you added white paint with the plaster of Paris and the water , you would have made your own Gesso. The aluminum is brilliant . Great job !
Everything is simple if you are a genius.. What if you are not? Amazing show/talent/patience
i could watch this for hours
I really like your water technique. So simple and it looks very good.
The water is so good, very good job as always
Fantastic work and some great tips, thank you.
Wow masterpiece of hand skills.

Glad to see some people make sea water without using a gallon of resin. Your see looks more effective than most using resin.
Excellent build. But I have to say that the ocean effect is outstanding!
The water looks so realistic - great job!!

Fantastic work, I'll have to use some of your techniques for the yamato I'm working on

Really nice trick with the flags! I just finished building this and will definitely go back and use the flag decals now. Thanks!!
