I would buy a backup gps antenna, last time I had a crash and the dash survived but the antenna didn’t. Especially if you want rebuild at the track and be fully functional
When you installed i2M O2 sensor what happen with the original that was on the bike. Did you have to remove wiring for that one sensor all together? How did you go about it?
The original O2s were removed long before the chrome install. The main wire harness connectors are still there but the O2s were ditched when I had the ecu flashed and the pc5 reinstalled. I did install the wide band O2 that came with the chrome unit but the ecu doesn’t use it. It’s only purpose is data points for the chrome unit. In theory, after a session I can download the O2 data then make adjustments to the fuel table.
@@ESBKLife Thank you for your reply. Is it safe to say that i can leave the original sensors in and not attached the one provided with i2M kit. I will be not making adjustment to the fuel tables. I have race kit 3 installed and flushed and mapping will be done at the race shop once i obtain full exhaust. If I don't install the new provided sensor i shouldn't have any functionality issues. Much appreciate your replies, Regards, Dan
I had the same problem with the screws, just went down to the hardware store and bought longer screws

@@danvukasinovic2356 Yes that’s correct
Hey, anything needs to be done with the Key / Dash / ECU to make this work?
No sir. At least not on my gen 1 S1000RR. However, You should check the i2M website for compatibility with your bike.
What year is your s1000rr also do you know if it will work with mine having the ecu flashed by Brentuning? Thanks
My bike is a 2011 and yes the will work with your flashed ECU
