That beautiful cabinet is an antique record cabinet. It’s so beautiful! I love repurposing pieces like that. I keep linens in mine. Also, thank you for the Portuguese (linens) shout out! I am America raised but Portugal born. ❤ Have a beautiful day!
No, I just found out. It’s an antique sheet music cabinet. But records would work in it. I googled it this morning… loves
@@mamabrooke They made similar cabinets to this for records but the shelves were horizontal rather than vertical so that the records wouldn't get crushed with the weight of being piled one on top of the other. As vintagemermaidsartist said, the ones with the horizontal shelves would be great for storing linens.

That stand is for storing music, probably piano music, and were pretty often seen in Victorian homes in a Music Room near the piano. Love your videos🌹

No actually it’s not for records it’s from the 1920s it’s sheet music The record ones are reproductions of them and the slats go the other way . It’s a very pretty piece isn’t it? I have a china doll plant and it's barely changed since I bought it. We'll see. My favorite plant so far is a Hoya plant.

Yes, it’s very sad to see it coming to an end. I don’t mind full. Actually, I kind a like it for dressing. I cooked your meal for our dinner tonight. Only difference was I didn't have pesto but I had a dip with pesto cashews and parmesan cheese in it. Great hit. Hubby loved it.❤️ ❤❤

I think your beautiful little cabinet is for a Victrola and the records were stored in the bottom on the shelves. I have my grandmother’s old records but the Victrola was lost somewhere along the way.
They do make them like that but the shelves would go the other way. This one is for music sheets I found out.
You need to find a place for that piece of furniture! It’s jus beautiful!

I found a China Doll plant at Hirt's Gardens in Ohio online. They are on sale now. I got the larger one for $6.99 and with postage it came to $11.99 and it came in a couple days. Very good wrapping. I even called to make the order with credit card. You won't be disappointed.

I like the way you cook (with leftovers) as I too live alone and am always looking for quick and easy recipes. Thanks for reminding me about johnsonville sausage. I would take the sausage out of the casing and fry it loose. That's more appealing to me than the chunks. Isn't that a sheet music cabinet?

Good morning ,it’s not a record holder. It’s a sheet music holder from the 1920s. The record holder ones are reproductions from the 70s and the shelves go to the opposite way. I’m personally not into wood , I’ll either paint it out or sand it down. 🤷🏼♀️ not sure yet if I’m keeping it. That’s why I haven’t done anything yet.

The season’s changing to fast. I do love fall, but not quite ready for it yet and winter is not a favorite with me. I’m going to have to bring some less hardy potted plants in by early to mid Sept. Do you have any idea what I can spray to keep those pesky little plant nats from hatching from the soil once indoors? Hope you have a good weekend🥰
To be honest with you, I like fall to but I don’t like winter at all ,and we get harsh ones too. As for the plants. I bring my spider plant in my birds of paradise and my my elephant this year. Don’t know if I’m going to succeed or not with the elephant ear but I’m gonna try. I transplant, everything into fresh soil, regardless what you do, you’re going to bring in bugs if you don’t wash and transplant. Have a good weekend too .

Yesterday we made a trip to the Hamilton area and visited an antique store , boutique ( For the Love of Bling ) and motorcycle clothing all under the same roof in Argyle. Bought three wrought iron garden accessories. They need to be sanded and painted before we put them out in the garden.

Someone told me it was a music cabinet for music papers which I didn’t know and it’s funny. I thought that when I looked at it but I thought now I’m wrong… but records would fit in there. I just don’t collect records.

It’s just Nan or pita bread with blueberries and feta. There’s a little olive oil over it and bake it in the oven and then put fresh basil on it with a drizzle of honey.

I have several of these plants in pots but never knew the name.I broke off a piece in the dirt several years ago at the same nursery that I use to get the Euphorbia from.But the nursery closed about 10 years ago.

I always do that sausage, same one with kale and mushrooms. I love fresh beets with butter too, love that earthy flavor. Ya, that pasta and pita are not on my diet. I made cabbage salad with cucumbers and beets and radishes. I also took some crab legs out and made some diet jello with a few black berries. I dont have a whole lot of options on this diet. but I just dropped 2 lbs from my plateau so happy happy, joy joy!❤ Its so bleepin hot out you can even breathe out there, I dont have air but my door and window have a nice cross breeze. Eventually we answer you LOL🤣I would have looked you up too but Wisconsin is a bit far to travel from.

I really don’t do anything but it does depend on their lighting and I don’t like full sun, minimal sun.
