#gaming - เกม
I'm just imagining the parallel dimension in which Amandine and Felipe host a comedic let's play show and mock the decisions made by AI Arin and AI Grumpo.
Then Amandine and Felipe complain about setting Grumpo's difficulty on hard
It's just them playing matt and ryan, both groups thinking the other two are AI
So, is Arin a woman's name?
@@sadib100 I know a girl named Arin
That would be fucking amaaaaazing
If Dan pulls this off, he is truly: Mr. Business
He and chilled chaos will need to play
he's a big business boy in a small business world
We all know dan is mr. business
He will be the Business Boy
The one who ... businesses?
And Arin can forever NOT be called the video game boy. Like yeah he would of technically had to literally bankrupt everything but he did have another property outside the monopoly and railroards to stay in the game and at the very least could of just yeah given everything to Dan. Still honestly thisi s more exciting and nerve wrecking then a lot of monopoly episodes which are good but yeah at this point Dan has proven to be better at this game then Arin with Dan's only "loss" against Super Mega which don't know if you can count as a lost if he's never played in that round. But yeah now it's Dan against Amandine the battle for the ages. Honestly like to imagine Amandine as this super serious super sinister and deadly calculated player with this evil smirk and the grumps still as... you know the grumps having to go against that well more like Dan against that with Arin cheering in the background.
Arin sewed the seeds of everyone’s demise by impulsively just declaring bankruptcy, yet Dan proceeds to power through. This is amazing
Yeah. The least he could have done was sell all of his properties to Dan for a dollar before he declared bankruptcy. That would have made it a Whole different game.

Arin: "This is all my fault."
Cue the first episode where Dan asks someone to edit in the moment they get completely fucked.
This is the most intense episode ever published
Yeah I had to step away for a bit. I really don’t like amandine.
I was on the edge of my couch
Yeah that was sweaty af 😂
Once Filipe dropped I scooted to the edge of the couch. It’s going down
Normally I don’t pay much attention when they’re playing monopoly, but this just hooked me!!
Dan: "Hey, Arin.....this is the worst idea you've ever had."
Arin: *_Y O U R T I M E H A S C O M E_*
YOUR DESTINY IS YOUR OWN
Last episode: "Do you think we have another episode of this?"
This episode doesn't say finale, oh god
Dan with a bunch of money: "There's nothing I can do."
Mortgaged utilities: *"Are we a joke to you?"*
But on the other hand, he did end up getting a house for about 10% of the normal price, so that's a pretty damn good deal.
I think the building permit auction is charged in addition to the house building cost.
The utilities are indeed a joke.
Dan: “hello welcome to our endless agony”
Me: “I’ve been hoping for this all day”
I've been waiting for this since they ended the last episode
same tho
Arin: escapes Amandine's property
The Claw: I'm about to end this man's whole career.
Quite literally
Arin: *Gets past Amandine’s properties unharmed*
The Claw: *N O*
*"Your time has come."*
*cofi dance music*
The Claw decides who will stay and who will go!
That one move is all it took to get arin out of the game
When Dan says "aww I have to mortgage hot dogs" and Arin bursts out laughing genuinely made me laugh. The pause between them was brilliant
14:13 Amandine spent all of her money to buy a green property, just to mortgage it not even five minutes later.
Hard AI btw
*sees that the title doesn't say finale*
This is gonna be a good time
Auctions take double casually. Without ragequits that is.
WHAT??? there’s NO way
The first thing I said when I saw it pop up was "Wait, what? *reaches for pringles*"
This episode had me yelling “Unmortage Hot Dogs! Unmortage Hot Dogs!”
I'm imagining people shouting this into oversized 80's cell phones at the New York Stock Exchange.
BRO me too with the exact same wording! like, out loud.
Lol
@@SethCourrege this makes it 10x funnier omg

Arin in Monopoly : Remembers every card and how much you earn for however many houses you have on it
Arin in any other game : "I was specifically told how and when to use this object in the game" Forgets after the first five minutes
Never change Arin
Dan: Welcome to our endless agony! The finale!
Me, who didn't see finale in the title or thumbnail: oh you sweet summer child
It truly is endless!
Danny said this was the finale, but it's not in the title ! Who do I believe ???

@@eMRH1202 he got it right (at least the one on ep 3)
Hats off to him, he knows what's going on.
I am SCREAMING at Danny to un-mortgage some of his properties after he buys that last house. He is so focused on increasing the value of each property, he is blinded to the fact that he could easily increase his number of properties. Which statistically speaking is probably the better option anyway.

At first I was upset that Arin didn't give Dan his properties but actually it's become much more entertaining this way
The Mr. Business hype has never been so real. I have been GLUED to my screen this whole time.
Remember when the first time they played this?
They were so happy when learning about the game.
Now here we are creating bro codes, exchanging deals and losing their sanity.
Don’t forget the bloodletting
They've come so far...
That "go back 3 spaces" was quite literally Arin's phantom bankrupt.
monopoly nerd here, probably for the last time. i don't have much to add, the game is really even. it's a matter of whoever lands on a hotel first. AIs continued to make dumb investment decisions- Amandine could probably have secured a win by keeping up the housing shortage and NOT TRYING TO ACQUIRE GREEN. cripes. Good luck to Dan.
Thanks for your analyses.
Several people have commented that Dan should be unmortgaging his properties now. Personally, with how expensive Amandine's spots are and how little most properties get you when they're landed on, the only ones I could see being ok to unmortgage are the utilities, and even then I think it's iffy. What's your opinion on that?
Your comments are the best things, please comment on the last video with a big game analysis wrap up! I watched this video yesterday but came back just now to look for your comment.
@@LunatheMoonDragon "I watched this video yesterday but came back just now to look for your comment." Ditto.

"Go back 3 spaces" I can almost see the color drain from Arins face.
I can see the dead look in his eyes as realization dawned
He’s like I am done I’m dead
this game really hates Arin, it must be because he makes fun of the narrator's voice
To quote Vanna White from their 3rd (2nd for Dan) Wheel of Fortune bout, "Next time, pay your respects bitch."
This game actually rigs the dice rolls on higher difficulty
Your time has come!
Just like Dan made fun of Vanna White. It all makes sense now!
Or payback for (accidentally) cheating Dan out of $60 that one time.
We haven't heard from the famed Monopoly Nerd yet and I can only assume he's having a cardiac arrest watching this.
Especially given the fact that his last comment predicted Dan losing first XD. I don't blame him tho. It's a very very unlikely scenario
oh god im still waiting for his response i love reading them
Monopoly Nerd should get a research grant for this series because how does one even begin an analysis of what we just witnessed?
It's been three days and I don't see Monopoly Nerd anywhere :(
Ah well, on to the finale nonetheless
Monopoly Nerd’s comment loaded right above yours so I feel like that’s some kind of good karma haha
I'm so glad they picked the amusement park board for this because this is one hell of a rollercoaster episode
Arin: This is all my fault...
Dan resurrecting the Adam Sandler soundboard just for this occasion: YOU BLEW IT!!!
I *need* the conclusion to this. And then afterward for you to immediately start playing another game of Monopoly.
Arin: "Well at least she didn't *get* anything!"
_As Amandine takes ten minutes rearranging the seven properties she received by Arin declaring bankruptcy_
Arin just pulled a "I'm never going to financially recover from this"
"Go back 3 spaces" is suddenly the scariest words in Monopoly
Especially since it's so blatant. Every other card has some flavor to it as to why you're getting or losing money from speeding fines to bank errors. It's such a cold contrast to the rest of the game.
Lag Incarnate it exists purely to fuck people over in the worst possible ways.
Does can "go back three spaces" suddenly is suddenly gay
I mouthed the words before it happened, it was hilarious and sad.
@@randomname7918 haha I think I was able fixed the grammar now 😅
Dan’s defeated “She has all the railroads now?” kills me.
*Amandine gets all of Arin's property*
Arin: "Well, at least she didn't get anything."
I was sat here mentally urging Arin to give all his stuff to Dan before going bankrupt.
Forgotten it’s not that difficult but like some other youtubers they don’t read the tutorials then bitch when they don’t know what they’re doing. Arin dislikes Zelda games because they “spell out” what to do and then he’s bitching that he needs a guide like dude come on your hilarious but you are your own selfish demise at times
Ivan Solivan-Morales lmao you managed to bring Arin’s Zelda hate into a Monopoly episode. Nice one.
Wow guys everyone hates arin but can we just agree we're ALLL the ass holes here?
Technically, that's actually against the rules of monopoly. Trading away your properties to another player before going bankrupt. You're only allowed to trade to another player if it'll save you.
Alright, lets see. Arin had...
Light blue houses: $75 each x 9 = 225
Light blue properties mortgage: $60 + $50 + $50 = $160
Railroads mortgage: $100 x 3 = $300
Red property mortgage: $110
Cash: $30
Total value = $825
He could have stayed in the game with enough money for Chinese food for 2 people
Two and a side order of won tons
Yeah, but at that point, he'd still had to get past GO without being fed to Dan's brown gauntlet, and then Amandine's gauntlet for a second time. Too much variance in the dice rolls to rely on those odds, and we just seen how that played out with Arin getting 3 spaces card.
r/theydidthemath
Yeah, he had to call it, there was no coming back. He would have had $25 and no way of gaining more money except Go and Chance or Community Chest cards. The mistake however was not at least selling the houses and mortgaging everything. At least then Amandine wouldn't have gotten a free monopoly with 3 houses each. That or he sells the houses and sells all his stuff to Dan for a dollar, that would have made the game a lot more interesting.
Do you mean 25 each
*Amandine gets all of Arin’s properties*
“Well, at least she didn’t get anything.”
Yeah, Arin didn't even get rid of his houses or anything so she got as much as she could really.
Its now become a co-op game: Arin and Dan vs A man dying
Aw men deen
THE SECOND FELIPE DROPPED out my heart went SO fast. I am *too* involved.
Hearing Dan say "well we can get dinner after this" just warms my heart, this isn't a ship or anything just bros being bros
Everyone: Deeply analyzing the last monopoly videos
Me: Believing Danny will win because he's Mr. Business
You raise a good point.
Danny was pretty stupid for mortgaging the red so far
30:46 Dan: give me a 4, 6 or 7
Filipe: rolls a 7
Dan: Thats a 7 thank you! *slaps filipe*
I’d like to think of it as a backhanded pimp slap
Oh man that GG animated is gold
19:53 I'm so high I was about to respond "Aw shit, I'd love to get dinner with you guys" and then remembered I'm sitting at my computer and not actually playing Monopoly with Dan and Arin... This is the worst timeline.
When Filipe went bankrupt the anime music kicked in for Dan
Dan: welcome back to our endless agony , the finale.
Me: *looks at part 4 in the title*
😳
It truly is endless
At least Arin accepted responsibility for screwing their chances with that trade lol
32:59
Dan: Oh she's coming out
Dude he sounds so scared, it's like he's talking about a beast coming out of its cage.
I'm so invested in this monopoly game and my wrath towards amandine is insurmountable, I am on the edge of my proverbial seat I swear to god
Man, if Danny had unmorgaged his properties he could have been bleeding Amandine slowly near the end, she kept landing on his mortgaged stuffed.
yeah i dont think he realizes that he needs to unmortgage his railroad and/or his utilities. plus at this point he might be able to get the railroads from her
That'd be a waste of money IMO. Utilities suck and he can't get a set from buying back anything. Until he has full hotels, buying back anything he has shouldn't be a thought.
Unmortgage for 150 to collect 20 on rent? Not worth it. Like the other poster said, he needed to save his money for his properties and in case of landing on her properties
Plus if he gets the final yellow, he needs to be in a position to buy houses.
@@MichaelSotoCE Unmortgaging costs the mortgage price (so half the cost) plus 10%. If he needs the cash again, he gets the half back. It's only the 10% that would be lost. So yeah, spending $8 per property to collect 20s and 30s is worth it. Still, nothing compared to people landing on his hotels.
36:22
My favorite moment in any of these, a moment of triumph in a world of pain, a glimpse of joy in despair, a good roll supporting the economy of Dan... It's beautiful...

Seeing like 30 minutes after Arin drops out and you know it's gonna be an episode.
The Claw really looked at Arin and said "I'm about to end this man's whole career"
The Grumps went through an amazing arc in this playthrough - from vicious angry bro fights in the first two episodes straight to cheering so hard they clip the audio. I love these dudes
Now that they're basically on one monopoly team vs the AI, they're able to weaponize the combined power of their bro moments against the computer instead of against each other.
thinking about how long this monopoly play through would’ve been back when they did 10-15 min eps lmao
This particular version of Monopoly is terrible and makes it even more drawn out than an actual game of Monopoly.

I feel like Felipe is just some poor senior citizen spending all his money on various taxes and scams then losing what he has left staying in expensive homes that turn out to be hell
Honestly it makes me so mad that Dan didn't buy back his properties during his winning streak
I went from thinking "could be useful to buy back the utilities seeing as he had both" to yelling "HOT DOOOOGS! BUY THE HOTDOOOOOGS!!!"
It's not really the best investment, makes more sense to focus on a killer monopoly or two than a bunch of penny lands
@@budderbrinejr I mean, in this state, you can definitely nickel and dime someone to death as they approach your killing property. I think he's in the right, though, since he has enough money to survive a hit on Amandine's biggest property. If he put that money into opening properties, he'd go under $800, then just have to mortgage them and ultimately be out like, what, half the value of most properties?
Dan's key right now is to no matter what stay above $800 so he can always afford Amandine's biggest hitter.
I thought it could not be a good idea to spend the big bucks he got cause he still has the chance of landing on the oranges. But idk, Felipe left a lot for him, he could mortgage those properties.
@@budderbrinejr This. Utilities are crap. Nothing else he can unmortgage is worth it as he doesn't have a full set. At this point of the game you are better focusing on building houses and hotels on what you do have

Nope. They're looking deep into each other's eyes always
They're recording a show dude, constantly talking takes some focus off the game. They noticed right after.
You must be new
You mean Arin "Who needs tutorials? *5 minutes later* How do I do anything?" Hanson?
Using your eyes to play video games is for pleb-ass casuals.
There's 2 things they passed up that surprise me. The first is that they didn't even flinch when they saw Amandine manage her properties mid-auction. The second is that Arin didn't get any "Vietnam flashbacks" to every time Dan would thread the needle on Arin's properties in all those previous games.
18:15 Right here Dan is experiencing the definition of a monopoly. Yup. There's no more space for you to make more money and I keep getting richer. Which is why they introduced trading property to cover the cost of landing on spaces. Funny that it happened so suddenly.
It's kinda strange to hear Dan calling Monopoly "our" endless agony. When it's really just "Arin's" endless agony.
What's a little communism between friends in a board game all about capitalism!
Dan had to go through some shit this game. Lots of emotional turmoil. I’d call it his agony too
