I use one credit card and pay off the balance the month the debts are accrued. That way I start the next month at zero. I also get my points credit faster. I check my accounts daily to stay on top of things. It’s a simple practice but keeps me fully aware of my spending levels, where I’m making progress (or not), and whether adjustments are needed right away.
Thanks so much for watching! Please consider sharing with your friends and family that might benefit from this! Oh, and check out my other personal finance videos. See you in the next one 😊

You are in the right place! Welcome. Regarding examples of High Yield savings account I use www.ratecompare.co.za/best-savings-accounts which consolidates all the banks’ products so you can easily assess if the interest rate is above inflation. Other countries will have similar comparison platforms too. Regarding Tax Free Savings Accounts (TFSA), I have an Easy Equities TFSA and it allows me to invest in ETFs or shares which will grow over the long term. Please watch my How to Invest for Beginners video here to learn more but I’m here if you have any questions that I can help with: th-cam.com/video/G-De-xZaV5k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FUkCGXd1MOzHhxkW ,and for when you’re working, also watch The Optimal Order of Investing: th-cam.com/video/UOgIalZsKgA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6nff7FmK9qo9OzOJ . Interesting video. Makes me reflect on it I have two bank accounts and one ISA which not sure exactly what it does but always put some money there. Do you know if those accounts you mention are available in Uk?
Hi, Great contents indeed. I am a fan. Can you please do a video about Personal loan and Bank finance loan distinctives, and which one would you advice one to take. Thank you
I have a home loan and I make extra deposit to that account every month which I can access anytime, can I consider this to be my emergency Savin or I should open a separate account for emergency saving?
Yes you can; I do. You can have a 1 year fixed deposit which you rollover every year or a 3 or 5 year fixed deposit for longer term savings. The next video is about the best high interest rates on fixed deposits in SA, look out for it later.
This is brilliant I have all those account but never saw it in that way. This will help to restructure
So glad it’s helpful 🙌🏾 Let me know if you have some topics you’d like me to unpack next.

I have separate business and personal accounts. When you are financially free, have separate accounts to keep yourself organized.
Agreed!
