Wow Jake to hear u talking about ur dad’s accident reminds me of my dad’s accident , it’s so hard as a family to go through that . My dad is still struggling with medical issues but it is something that affects them for life, for a Mexican father it’s like if their life is over when they can no longer work.

I have adhd and I have a hard time with my attention span, but when you both speak abt these things you keep it interesting and entertaining where I can actually sit thru it😚
loved this episode ❤️ especially talking about Jacobs dads accident. My family went through the same thing! My dad got hurt at work and moved a disc from his back. and it caused him to not work for over 2 years! and your life does change but thank god my dad got the change to go to therapy and went through a same process with suing. But things got better now! he started working again!! Before my dad got hurt my mom was pregnant and during all of these dark times, my mom had my baby sister. and my baby sister is was the reason why my dad is still here today!!!❤️ it really does sucks but at the end of the day staying positive is the most important thing! but hearing how his dad wasn’t able to play sports with him did hit home. because I played soccer and i planned on going to play for college but my dad was the only person who would practice with me. But he couldn’t bc the people he was suing were always watching. So not having him there for me, really made me lose the love for the sport. it really sucks bc i played travel soccer and I had a good future ahead of me but seeing it now it really does get to you as a kid.
I really enjoyed today's podcast ❤ I feel like I know a little more about both of you. You both have come a long way. I know that feeling growing up with no money and seeing my parents do the best they could to keep us happy and fed. And I can't wait to see all the things you both accomplish ❤
i love this podcast about money, i truly do think knowledge is power, how money works and how life works. people get mad when people talk about prices and i do think there’s a difference between flaunting prices and truly just informing about prices. you guys are so educated and mature for your age, i see the way you guys talk and it makes me like you guys because you cut the bs and say things the way they are, unfortunately you filter because ppl are so sensitive nowadays 😭
I love you guys so much this is literally my favorite podcast❤. I really enjoy listening to you guys while I drive I get so much motivation from you guys yall are the best!!❤❤
I watched the whole video ( in between breaks) and I can say, your sister probably does not even want you to pay her back, Jacob. She was just happy to be able to provide for you and take care of some things herself, as long as you had what you needed, that is all that mattered to her. I would do the same for my brother, ( the player, yes, lol ) if we were in that situation. The thing is, people/ sisters like us do not keep score, we do it because we love our family and that's that. I remember my dad worked six days a week to give us the life we had growing up. I saw him for a little while at dinner and then he would go to bed right after. Sundays were his only day off. Old school dads cannot stand to sit around, my dad was the same way. If they cannot provide for their family, it will hurt them inside. The only time I felt a change in the economic situation was when my parents were divorcing. My mom really put the screws to my dad. He would always say, don't worry about it, I will handle it, just go to school. (I was worried about my college and thought maybe if I stopped just for now, it would be easier for him but he wouldn't allow it) It was a little rough for a couple of years but he bounced back & Nat is so right, nothing is cut and dry, it rarely is. I have learned if I have to explain myself to someone more than once, they won't get it and they aren' "my people." they will just think whatever they want from their high horse and there is no changing those types of people, you have to let it go with them. You both have such great families, I am sure they are very proud of you !
You guys are awesome! Your mindset is growing more and more as you guys have this kind of conversations with each other. I’m grateful y’all have it documented for you to watch back and for you guys to share with us. As far as the money conversation you guys should keep on talking about it. There a saying I heard years back. Not sure if you know his podcast but Patrick bet David he was the CEO at the company I was part of years back. I learned a lot while being there, anyway he once said that when you move up in life, as in the brackets of income but I also see it as in mindset. People will want to talk about what “we’re told not to talk about” which is money, politics and religion. So as you guys continue to grow financially and in your mindset you will see how the conversation you get to have & also get/ start to shift to talking openly about those “taboo” things we are told at ayoung age we “shouldn’t ask/talk about”. Which is money, politics and religion. I personally love to see the mindset of how you guys operate in your business with YT. You guys have always being authentic so don’t hold back and continue to be authentic even with your conversations! 🦋💖
Also the book called think & grow rich is really good for you both since you guys are both into the finances podcast there is also another one called money and the law of attraction both can be listen to in audio books so it’s kind like you’re listening to a podcast! 🫶🏻
I was hit by a car walking across the street. And the pain that I was in bcuz of it was terrible!! I'm so young & I can't even walk right now & I won my lawsuit but I didn't get what I should have gotten. Bcuz now I need a my left hip replaced & I can't even walk without the use of a cane! Like I can't dance anymore with my husband & forget trying to be intimate with my injury. Getting hit took basically everything from me! And the lawsuit took years I got hit in 2016 & I got the $$ right when lockdown started in March of 2020. The good part of all of this is that I'm still alive & I can still spend quality time with my husband & our kids & I can tell ppl about the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty who literally saved my life bcuz as fast as the guy was going when he hit me I should be dead. I love you guys so much & I'm so grateful for each of you & I'm grateful for Ellie & Sharkie too. And I really have Tons of Respect for you both bcuz of the fact that you feel like if I eat everybody else is gonna eat!! And that's missing in our world today so mad love to you both for that!! Nobody thought that my husband & I were gonna make it. I knew when I met my husband that I was gonna marry him. And I went to the bathroom of the bar where we met. And I was telling this lady about him , like how gorgeous he is & how beautiful his blue eyes are. And I told her his name & she said she was his mother!! And I was so bold I said "I'm gonna marry your son!" And I gave him my # & he called me the next day & we've been together for 26 years now. And we've been married for 25 years & we have 2 Beautiful sons too. And we've been thru A lot of stuff like when I met him i had just given up my 1st son for adoption & I died when I did that. I couldn't function afterwards & I wanted the numb the pain. And I started doing dope (heroin) & we shot it for 12 years. And I thought that I was gonna die with a needle in my arm. I finally got to the point that I wanted to stop but nothing worked. So I cried out to the Lord Jesus to help me. And no joke I fiught an off duty cop the very next day & I got arrested. And getting arrested was the best thing to happen to me. When I got to the jail they did a pregnancy test & it came back positive! So not only did the Lord Jesus save me but he saved my unborn son too!! He's 20 years old now & he follows the Lord Jesus Christ too & so does my youngest son. He has autism & he couldn't talk & the doctors told me that he never would & I needed to learn sign language. And I prayed & prayed the elders prayed over him. And the Lord Jesus loosed his tongue & he's been talking for 6 years now & he gave his life to Jesus too. My husband & I have been clean n sober for 20 years & 9 months now & we're still together even though we've literally gone through a lot of ish!! And he doesn't believe in the Lord Jesus but I'm not going anywhere. No matter what nobody knows you like your man or your girl!! Let the other ppl talk their ish bcuz that's all they know how to do & you literally don't see them doing anything for themselves or their families. So let them be!! Do you & take care of yourself & your man or your girl & your families. Trust in Jesus Christ & do you. It'll all be good even though you go thtu ish!! I love y'all & I'm always praying for you both & your families. Have a Blessed night🤩😍❤️🔥
I understand where they're coming from, but when we're young, we often focus on things that aren't truly important, like brand-name shoes or expensive jeans, having the latest iPhone etc. We tend to care about material possessions, but we should remember that our parents worked hard to make ends meet. I don't believe either of them ever experienced homelessness, hunger, or a lack of electricity, and we often take these necessities for granted. While he might not have had the latest shoes or clothes, he likely had a loving home with parents who cared for him. Younger people please don't stress over materialistic things; they truly aren't that important. You'll understand this better when you're older.

One side says welcome and the other side says Welcome Fall. Just this morning I thought, I can't wait till I can turn my sign around , lol. and I swear, you guys are the younger version of Chris and I, lol. He couldn't care less as long as he has the basic needs covered and then there's me, with my check list..lol. I get it, Nat! Even though the Utah house was a bit dark, I still enjoyed the videos, you guys make it work no matter where you are, always so fun to watch. And it's funny you said Jacob was miserable there, I saw one vid where he was playing with one of the dogs on the porch, he was sitting on the stairs and I could see it..like when you're just trying to make the best of it but you can't wait to leave? It was a cute house but it didn't fit you guys, your personalities are way too big and bright for that house. Your vids were still great, and happy for you to not be there any longer if you weren't feeling it. when my work and chores are done, I plan on catching up on more of the podcasts later today. 😊
not my favorite podcast 😢 I didn’t like how Jake kinda tried to downplay Joel being a cheater as him being single when in the podcast they said he was in a relationship. Also why put that story out there if you didn’t want Joel to be perceived as a cheater/womanizer? If you’re aware of the negative affects social media comes with?
You are so right when you say you don’t even bring it in because you open yourself to that possibility, it’s best to not even bring that energy to your space. As far as having that thought in your subconscious mind about marriage it’s also has to do with accepting that new era of your life. If you don’t accept it then that’s when people have trouble being in that marriage. But it also has a lot to do with anything else like accepting/embracing not being single so you can fully be in a relationship etc.
The money talk gets ppl frustrated because there is ppl going to their 5-9 or even 12 hour jobs and still can’t make ends meet have 1-2 jobs and still can’t afford food and when they hear ppl making TH-cam videos or being in social media and making mad $$$$ is like crashing dreams and making them understand that even if they get a 3rd job it probably won’t make a difference, like you guys say you grew up in a poor or middle class family imagine still being stuck there but having all this jobs that won’t make any difference I think that money talk just hits everyone differently depending on were ppl are in life 🤷🏻♀️
No we totally get this. The system is so broken. It’s sooo fucked. This is the reality for most the people in our life. My dad breaks his back everyday at work but doesn’t make 1/4 of what we make. It’s so sad. But the only way to learn is for others to share! Hearing people who made it out is so inspiring and gives ideas to others on how to! That real estate guy I watch, shows so much detail and educates me sooo much because I would love to be able to do that stuff and make money! But negative people in the comments who are miserable and have a broke mentality (don’t ever believe they could make it) bully people to stop sharing this stuff and ruin it for the rest of us. Not having money is one things, being poor in the head is another.
You CAN live comfortably on 100k a year, you make like $30k more than the average household income. You're doing great. You only feel like you don't because of weird social media dynamics 🙄
@@apricot5747 set aside social media dynamics , $100k is a lot of money but was more in the past. With the current state of the real estate market and other inflated goods, $100k is not the same as it was years ago. Accounting for inflation, $100,000 in 2021 is approximately $117,000 in 2024. Think about it as well though, $100k is not going to be increasing in value in the future. It may have sounded like a comfortable amount but it’s not the same amount it was when I was in school saying I wanted a 6 figure job ($100k salary)
@@JathalteaPodcast. I think you’re confusing comfortably with LUXURY, not everyone wants to travel 24/7 or spend thousands of dollars on useless designer items or buy luxury vehicles that will only last u a couple of months… plus spend thousands on cosmetic surgeries, with prudent financial management and depending on personal circumstances, living on a $100,000 annual salary can be quite manageable for many people

Can’t wait for you guys to see more!😊
@@JathalteaPodcast. Omg you guys responded to my comment, I'm crying
I love this podcast because it just feeds me knowledge and not things that make my brain rot!!!! Instead of hearing about drama I enjoyyyyyy hearing about money, numbers, and the ambition to grow and become better!!! Although I’m only 16, I want to be able to make money early so I am able to live happily once I’m 30~50
I literally love how you guys are real and true. This is honestly the best podcast I’ve listened to.
Wow Jake to hear u talking about ur dad’s accident reminds me of my dad’s accident , it’s so hard as a family to go through that . My dad is still struggling with medical issues but it is something that affects them for life, for a Mexican father it’s like if their life is over when they can no longer work.
i always look forward to watching the podcast because i relate to the both of you sooo much! i literally feel understood and not crazy. u guys are doing great work & inspiring so many different versions of ur younger self’s
This was my favorite podcast honestly I love the topics.
You know i am currently in a stage how jake was talking about wanting to move. The thing is not sure where to move, on a different aspect im not happy currently but i just know i need to do something about it and you guys literally give me motivation
I love that y’all are so young and traveling!! 🙌🏼
Also please make a pod of spending money; all those categories! I genuinely have learned so much out of the small topics thru your podcasts And even thru the vlogs. I have adhd and I have a hard time with my attention span, but when you both speak abt these things you keep it interesting and entertaining where I can actually sit thru it😚
i was bored!!! i’m glad y’all posted
This was my favorite episode, so relatable 🫶🏻🥹
loved this episode ❤️ especially talking about Jacobs dads accident.
YESSSS ANOTHER JATHALTEA PODCASTTTT💕
I’ve watched almost all of you guys podcasts and this is by far my favorite one!
The re confirmation that Edith is the oldest , I love that she reads the comments and is talking about it ❤️
I really enjoyed today's podcast ❤ I feel like I know a little more about both of you. You both have come a long way. I know that feeling growing up with no money and seeing my parents do the best they could to keep us happy and fed. And I can't wait to see all the things you both accomplish ❤
i am loving this new era for jathalyy
🙌
Even the podcast channel is everything!!! ❤ you guys are such a motivation!! ❤️❤️
i love this podcast about money, i truly do think knowledge is power, how money works and how life works. people get mad when people talk about prices and i do think there’s a difference between flaunting prices and truly just informing about prices. you guys are so educated and mature for your age, i see the way you guys talk and it makes me like you guys because you cut the bs and say things the way they are, unfortunately you filter because ppl are so sensitive nowadays 😭
Hi guys😊 I'm always here for the Pod!! I can also appreciate that you believed in your abilities, took chances, and proved yourselves right!! 🎉🎉 🤩
Living comfortably is subjective! You guys aren’t wrong at all! You’re actually being very realistic.
Omg new podcastsss let’s gooo you guess inspired me so much ❤❤❤❤ I love your guys content
Man I just hope this couple gets everything and more than their heart desires . Jathaly you don’t have anyyyyyyy idea how much I love you guys 🤍🤍🤍🤍
I love the new locations !!! I live vicariously through YOUR ADVENTURES 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼LOVE U GUYS SO MUCH! come to Hawaii one dayyy!!
Yayyy another podcast the set up is everything 🎉🫶🏼
I love your guys podcasts! ❤❤❤❤ i cant wait for the next one! Ive been watching you guys for the last couple of years and ive seen how much you two have grown! Im so happy and proud of you guys!!!
LOVE THE THE FINANCIAL ADVICE😫 make money work for you!!!
Now we need nathalys untold childhood story!!!💕🙌
I need Nat to post a video segment of just her showing us to make coffees lol 😅
This video touched me deeply. What Hake went through is very similar to what I went through. I thank God that we made it out of that season in our lives as a family but all of it definitely does scar you and change a lot of things
i enjoy watching your videos because i want to work as a trauma nurse, i’m 18 btw, so i already have my cna license and i want to buy a house live in it for a year and rent it out and buy my dream house after
Your doing good ❤

I agree with the layout. My office is in the basement, and it’s so dark. I moved my workstation upstairs and it’s so much better.

THISSSS BACKGROUND IS EVERYTHING❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anyone else see how may helped Jake with the pillow 😢literally my iconic coupleeee❤
love youre podcast keep posting !
Native from Colorado!! This makes me so happy that you guys are Colorado Stan’s!! 😁😁😁😁❤️
Also!! lived here my whole life and I’m still terrified to drive in the snow!😂
hahahaha as soon as Nat said PSL, yep, pumpkin spice latte! I am counting down the days ! I have a reversible welcome sign from Hobby Lobby . 😊
Nooo nat 😣 we love pickles out here 😭😭😭 love you guys !!
not my favorite podcast 😢 I didn’t like how Jake kinda tried to downplay Joel being a cheater as him being single when in the podcast they said he was in a relationship.
Listening to this while tanning is a banger!!!🥳🫶🏼
This background ateeee 💙💙💙, keep it up, yall are doing AMAZING 💙
We get the BTS, we’re special😂 the normals vlog viewers don’t understand 😂
This has to be my favorite set up so comfy and beautiful
You CAN live comfortably on 100k a year, you make like $30k more than the average household income. You're doing great. You only feel like you don't because of weird social media dynamics 🙄
they definitely make more than 30k above the average household
@@bonelesswing194 No they were saying by making 100k is making around 30k more than the average household:)
I think you’re confusing comfortably with LUXURY, not everyone wants to travel 24/7 or spend thousands of dollars on useless designer items or buy luxury vehicles that will only last u a couple of months… plus spend thousands on cosmetic surgeries, with prudent financial management and depending on personal circumstances, living on a $100,000 annual salary can be quite manageable for many people
The notebook is set in South Carolina the lake is cypress gardens near Charleston and the name for the room is a sun room but in Az they’re called Arizona rooms!
P.S. I love your guys’ videos I’ve watched you guys for your years I first watched nay when she would do her 5 am videos in hs! So proud of how far both of yall have come! 💕
Nat talking about how she loves watching finance podcasts meanwhile I’m eating Wendy’s watching love island 😪😪
When y’all get your own house you should host a holiday party and bring both sides together. I think that would be so fun and such a cool fun video
I believe you guys are in a sun room!! One of my DREAM house features I need a sun room when I buy a house😭
