🎉Over 500,000 channel views!🎉 A testament to the quality & specificity of your insights, and an example to us all on showing up and just doing the damn work!
(not that there's anything wrong with us taking a break and working at our own pace, of course🍷)

I have tried writing in shorter sessions. I am less productive. But I, at least, find it not impossible by using your outline method and making myself notes within the document about what I'm doing (so I don't have to try to remember, which is a waste of time) when I come back to it. But in my case, I am way more productive when I can write for days and nights without interruption. I wake up with it, I go to sleep with it. Sometimes I wake up with inspiration.
So I've made some progress with my writing process in that I CAN now write at shorter clips. But it's still more productive for me to write in days-long (mostly at night) writing sessions. I lay in plenty of groceries and then I just go at it. I have my main phone off and another number I'm reachable at only by those who really, really need to reach me. If I even THINK I'm going to be interrupted, it can interfere with my concentration. That is still how I work best.

Oh, gosh - I never meant to suggest anyone else should work the way I do! My whole point was: you have to build your work process based on how YOU work. If you do bnest with long sessions where you ramp up to a great level - do that!! Whatever works. I was just saying: ask yourself - is this working, and if not why not? And be open to trying things until you find something that is (relatively) fun and healthy. Sounds like you've done exactly that.
