Our 5am morning routines have changed a bit for 2024 since we now have two different schools and start times to juggle. Looks like you’ve got the morning routine down! I’m with you about making the beds. I don’t leave the bedroom (unless it’s to the bathroom) until the bed is made. I may not always have everything picked up, there may be a stray dirty dish or two in the kitchen. Chances are good there may be a cob web or dust hiding out…..but the bed is made. Lol

Laundry I loathe folding laundry. I had a thought of what if you portioned out yogurt when you are doing weekly prep, so in the morning you would just have to grab a portion and top it. I don’t know that it would save that much time but some days every second counts.
I am not a morning person at all so I do most of what you were doing in the middle of the night.
Oh yes, laundry is a beast! I can get the folding part done but I struggle with putting it away! Great idea on the yogurt, thank you🫶🏻

Our middle school here is the latest start😬😬. My least favorite chore is cleaning the shower. I would rather do anything else cleaning related than that🤣🤣 my youngest also started 6th grade this year. They can't carry their backpacks around so he does not bring one. They have to store it in their locker all day. As my husband left for work this morning he mentioned he may be getting sick which reminded me about trying those wellness shots!! I really need to get on that!
Yes! I really need to get that workout in my routine! It is SO true about lifting weights for strength..I will be 40in Dec....I have noticed that I am alot weaker than I used to be!😭
Oh yes! I do NOT like cleaning to shower! I put it off for way too long! I wish they had lockers at my son’s school but they don’t! Let me know how you like the wellness shots when you try them, I have lots of recipes I can share💗

I usually try to put my kids to bed at 8 o’clock sleep by 9pm. I find myself staying up until 10 or 11 PM, which is extremely late, especially with getting up at 6 AM every morning!

Hi! Our elderly dog, Gus, can’t do stairs anymore so he lives in our walk out basement. It’s where we hang out the most as a family so he’s in good company🧡
