I watched a short video on the longest straight line route one could sail from Pakistan southwest through the Mozambique channel then on to Drake's Passage and northwest to far Eastern Russia. This left me with a lot of questions about how a magnetic compass would behave on such a journey. I couldn't easily find answers bu googling and most of the results I found on TH-cam were also not what I was looking for. Your video was very informative and gave me the beginning of an understanding on this topic. We are just recreational sailors, but we enjoyed the detailed explanations you provided. We are looking forward to watching more of your videos on navigation
