Thank you for the videos. Not to be creepy but your voice over is soothing. I never understood why people need to sound so hyped doing a tut, so thank you.
Thanks so much for this. Additionally, I just figured out that if you click on the magnet icon far right of the Tabs panel, it will automatically snap-to and align with the text box.
Hello Nukefactory (and innd Community) Just one sugestion: try somme variations on the dot design like: . . . . . . (One dot, 2 spaces) For lighter lines, or... _______ (Underscore); ------- (hifen). By the way: Tabs design are the one very important aspect of vertical alignments on typography. Try them , whem you have a very small space in business cards, and you need some Symmetry Cheers from Lisbon - Portugal
In this situation you'd need to go to the Type menu > Insert Special Character > Other > Tab and this will put a tab character into the table that you can format the usual way.
Sorry you're having trouble. This problem usually happens when the TAB marker is further back than the position of the TAB in the text. Try moving one of the TAB markers in the Tabs panels along further and see if the leader dots appear.
I honestly *do* hate the TAB panel. So much. It's just so... word processory.
straight to the point, perfect audio, sense of humor. if all tutorials were like this. thank you sir.
Thanks
It's quite comforting to hear that others think the tabs panels is horrible. I feel better. Great video. Will delivered.
Honestly, cheers for a straight forward explanation. Swear so many videos are so unstructured and go into way to much detail. This was easy!

Thank you so much for this. I haven't had to make one of these in 15 years and this helped immensely. 🤣

I tried it but it didn't work. I have my tabs aligned correctly but when I put the dot in the box, it didn't change anything. What now???

Thanks for that, but as friendly suggestion, you took almost 2 min to really get into it.
Good point, thanks. The intro goes on a bit, doesn't it. I've added chapters to make it a bit easier to get to the main info.
