That's the one thing I hate bout this game there are multiple aliens so you should be able to kill them especially if you can kill the facehuggers but not them. Makes no sense. Introduce the colonial marines or a predator, GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!!! Unless it's the queen, predalien, preatorian it can be killed easily game, damnit lol

I got the impression that the player's visibility hitbox was dependent on the camera's position, but I never realized it could be exploited like this.

You just owned the game. I had never seen anything even close to this. The algorithm doesn’t even have a “death” for the Alien so when killed it simply disappears. Excellent.

Poor alien just trying to do its job
any old Xenomorph would be dead 100000000 times over by the end of this ... hell 1 shot to the head would kill an alien with that pistol, in the right place of course
Leviathan 425 but you can see the green blood from the xenomorph when getting shot around 9:50, so that pistol clearly went through the exoskeleton, so it should have been killed, meaning that the shotgun should wreck it. Plus I don't think a xenomorph would walk away from being partly on fire unscathed.
Keep in mind that most of the weapons onboard the station were in the hands of civilians, not military personnel. So I'm sure they would've lacked armor-penetrating properties.
Besides, the game would've lost its fright factor if you could simply rid the Xenomorph with a single shotgun blast to its face.
The Ugly Barnacle I know that, but if they want the xenomorph to seem invincible, they shouldn't have made there be so much blood splatter, maybe just a couple drips like it was just a cut, but when you have that much blood splatter, it gives a false sense that you could kill it if you shot it enough.
Leviathan 425 I get that, but I know a good amount of people tried to kill the xenomorph because they saw the blood, and thought that if they shot it enough that it would die, and they could roam around without worry, which I feel is giving false hope. But then again, there is more than 1 xenomorph, so you could shoot one, have it run away to heal, and a different one shows up after hearing the first xenomorph's screams.
Sorry pal this isn't Cameron's Xenomorphs. These are Ridleys, AKA the ACTUAL perfect Organism :)
