Taizo definetly deserved a spot in this series after how he was portrayed in the previous one. Previously, he was portrayed as Mr. Nice Guy until he started fighting. Here, he’s a little inverted, giving off serious vibes but still showing friendlyness a likability. It’s what makes him one of my favourite characters. He definetly deserves a signature soundtrack like the others.
Taizo finally takes home the W. He’ll probably never get another on-screen win again but it’s fine. I’m satisfied. Also that Euryanthe animation into Welstra’s punch was beautiful

If new Products get released, boom, they're immediately made a bit better thanks to the existence of Welstra's Divine skill, not to mention his ride line that gets him two products that he immediately gets to play with his Divine skill

I was so excited for this episode. There hasn’t been a match up that I wasn’t so sure about in forever. I’m so glad this fight happened and that they finally gave Taizo a win 😭 I hope Mikoto gets to stay in the show though
A great attention to detail: When Welstra guards Krysrain's attack with the 6 shields, the 3rd & 6th shields are slightly larger than the rest. When we see the cards Taizo guarded with, from his left to his right, the 3rd & 6th cards are grade 0's, with higher Shield values.
I don’t know, it’s 50/50 either way, I wholeheartedly agree that he’s one of the more likable characters out but even so, it doesn’t always justify if a character is going to win or not, we’ll just see how it plays out for both sides!!! 😮🤭🤷🏽♂️
I think Taizo will win, there's a reason Lyrical got a fight a week ago. It will make Taizo win get more impact and make Lyrical didnt look weak compared to other Fated One cards.

It’s honestly great to see Taizo because I am excited to see what he can do but ended up a lot closer than I thought and I was rooting for him which I am glad he won. Although I got to commend Mikoto for fighting exceptionally well despite the result and being in a disadvantageous situation because the pressure was really on her when Krysrain’s power value kept decreasing throughout the cardfight which I thought “Oh Crap, this does not look good.” and can’t be bothered because Mikoto just gotten a win in the previous episode, probably one of my favorite episodes after episode three but can’t wait for the upcoming cardfights. And I also agree on Akina Myodo x Mikoto Saito, that was too cute!!! ☺️ #DivineZ
I honestly didn't expect Taizo to win. The fight was great the animation was pretty nice too. Now I really wonder who that myserious figure is and why he wants to get rid of Akina.

I'm honestly glad that they gave Taizo more screen time, I really like his personality and his way of battling a lot. Spoilers! Well not much to talk about (probably cause I'm still tired as of writing this). First off the interaction between Akina and Mikoto really highlighted how much Mikoto is not honest with her own feelings even after Hikari saying how much she likes her no matter her personality, Mikoto is just afraid that people would not accept her true self, which is clear during her fight against Taizo. I guess one of my predictions came true throughout the fight Taizo was indeed talking some sense into Mikoto telling her to just be herself which she did but unfortunately wasn't enough to beat Taizo in the end, though throughout the fight I was wondering what Taizo wants out of the Fated Clash but I guess were gonna find out next episode and I have a feeling that Akina might make a mistake.
Alright. Now I'm more convince that the Op telling us which of the Fated one is gonna lose in order. But if it is true till the end, then Akina will lose. So far the order is the same as the Op: Nao 1st, Mikoto 2nd. And since next ep is Akina Vs Taizo, Taizo will lose, Taizo is the 3rd to appear in Op. It is still theory but I'm more convince now. Anyway that episode was great! Finally Taizo Win!! 🤣🤣. Also his deck is straight fire 🔥🔥. Cant wait for the Heaven Knight Vs The Demon CEO next!

my only question for Taizo deck build is Combine Rusher. Product actually doesn't set frequently aside from the early turns (unlike meteor or eva or orphist). The official deckbuild had the accountant instead which I would agree more.

I need to see what the Gigachad Suo and his hopefully broken Blangdmire are going to do. It would be so cool if one of Blangdmire skills is to reduce all units to zero and make the opponent can’t guard with grade 0 😂😂😂
Arrggghhh kinda torn on this one.... At one hand HALLELUJAH REJOICE!!! Taizo finally got an on screen W bundled with 🔥 animations. But on the other hand really feeling for Bunny Berry. She played exceptionally well under pressure. At least she kinda got her wish at the end being more courageous and confident and also able to spent time with one of hers biggest fan. 2 big questions coming out of this. What's the deal with Taizo and Akina and why does masked man adamantly wants to get rid of Akina out of the Fated Clash as soon as possible?
My guess is Masked used Fated One of Miracles before,and THIS is the reason for wearing a mask. He just has a scary goddamn face,or he lost someone so precious to him that Masked said "I am not myself anymore". In any other way he would not say Akina that if he continues to use Miracles' Fated One, what awaits him is death. He must say it from experience.
I wanted Taizo to win, he deserves it after losing to me twice while I broke the rock over him. I got nervous though when they played Mikoto’s theme thought she would finish it that turn

Finally Taizo stopped being a jobber, it is quite credible that he ended up winning, Mikoto just played the physical format while Taizo is a professional with quite a bit of experience
For the third round I think it would be very interesting if Taizo won. It broke the idea of the protagonist always winning a little and shows why Taizo was one of the finalists in the other season. And it also kind of encourages people to buy Mikoto's deck more, as it shows that it's not weak, just that she was dealing with someone much more professional than her at that moment.
My guess for the masked guy wanting to get rid of Akina and suo cos something big happened afterwards As shown in the OP, Akina was holding the umbrella but disappeared afterwards possibly hinting his death but I highly doubt so

14:42 -2000? In the original series, only Zeal series have the unique skills to decrease opposing Vanguard's power, but, I don't think I've ever seen a unit that ever got power on the negative, heck, I always thought 0 is the lowest number you can get by decreasing a Vanguard's power.
Alestiel can do that too with her signature rear guard. This way so that when they pull damage trigger their atk power is not 10k but 8k meaning more cards to guard
@BushidoRoad agreed each season has improved from the previous one. These are just OG fans that can't stop riding on nostalgia so they hate anything that is new and different. The same happened with Pokemon Horizons luckily Horizons is actually doing better than some old Pokemon animes. It's just people that don't know how to accept changes.
Man I'm seriously annoyed I miss the Live for this episode. Not only getting to see Taizo but also CEO just punching a mermaid with a gleeful smile is both hilarious and terrifying to me. 😂 Im so happy Taizo won though, he seriously got disrespected last season, but the way Mirei went out what's a bit sad falling along with the battle there wasn't much he could do with anything in her hands at the best she'd be able to guard two attacks but not all as she said personally even if I couldn't do anything I wouldn't take it I would fight until I had absolutely no moves left and even then there's still the drive check it's unlikely but it's possible but I can understand the early Tapout. Now ask for the next match up with Taizo vs Akina I'm a little annoyed I mean I understand that if it's not Akina That Taizo goes against even if Suave saitama loses against that edge Lord with no purpose Taizo would more than likely still have to fight either Akina or the edge lord. I can understand the matchup that doesn't mean I have to like it. 😢 Regardless this was a pretty fun episode😊😅
Gotta say... I was completely wrong in how the fight was gonna progress. Thought Taizo was way too greedy with the Divine Skill going off early and not PG'ing the Vanguard, but it paid off this time...

Ok so the masked guy is still going around pestering the other participants, he really seems to focus on Akina, as well as the fated one of zero. I would if the fated ones of miracles and zero have some great importance in Clay, and that if they win, one or the other will screw people over. People already theorized that Akina will sacrifice his life to save his sister's, but for Zero...i think he will straight up unalive his human partner once he's done with the tournament.
I wish they used Motion Figure Systems in this series, it'd make the fights more exciting. And they'd be very appropriate for what's essentially a Holy Grail war from Fate in a card game anime
unfortunately that would involve more animation work and would probably hurt the animation the current series have, it hurt the OG a lot, the animation in the OG is just bad. So I rather have only the last scenes animated, it's a more realistic approach but also gives the animators more time to perfect said animation in the fight scenes. Also I like creativity and OG Vanguard to me felt like it was trying too hard to be similar to Yugioh, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it. D series tho I like it more because it's a different approach which makes it unique to Vanguard it's not something done before, since most card animes tend to imitate the Yugioh format, for example Shadowverse, Build Divide, Duel Masters all were similar to Yugioh. I think it gives Vanguard a different identity, more unique than the other card games. OG felt too similar to all the other card games animes out there
@@symphonixblades Maybe card-game wise, but the stories were compelling. Currently the story is progressively devolving to the point this one is literally a tournament arc right from the start, and given the format the "story" feels cramped which doesn't give time to get attached to the characters in order to feel their wins and loses...unless they are from previous series (which has the same problem BUT is a "short screen time" x2 so it compensates). Even most of the "dreams" they have doesn't have that weight or urgent in paper/script: Akina's sister is not even with her days counted, and Mikoto's fears was effectively going to be overcome in battle whatever her result would end up being. For starters, having just 6 people in main cast is a good decision and it should help to attachment problem, but so far even Taizo (a returning character) is just characterized but not explored. The same can be said with Megumi.
@@667Kero you can't compare a story from a weekly Anime to a monthly anime. Why not? Weekly animes had more time to do the story, more episodes, monthly animes have less episodes, less time to do the story so they have to do it in 12 /24 episodes. With that said while they have less time for the story, one of the advantages is that monthly animes have more time to do animation than weekly animes, which is why D series have way better animation than the OG series, cuz the animators had more time and less pressure.

For example, there was an experimental show of 12 episodes that had each one directed by a different person. One episode was directed by Naruto's author and as an episode in a vacum, it is a solid piece in the emotional side. Despite the author itself not being able to have the same results for his main characters in Naruto most of the time.
My friend said, compared to other fated card, LM fated card, Krysrain, is the weakest in terms of gameplay. idk if that's true or not, I am still trying to get into vanguard again after last playing in G era
Oké so you CAN get minus power in vanguard, this was a nightmare ruling in legion era with the shadow paladin witches since nobody could agree wheter your vanguard stayed at zero or went below zero, its pretty stupid that your power can go below zero but now at least its confirmed

It not only places 2 order cards, but also operates 1, so welstra can double operate by itself in that turn. Also, freishutz and the satellite cannot be places normally in the order zone, they have to be places by an effect, It has less to do with the order zone and more to do with the product cards themselves.
I wonder if this is going to be a running theme for Masanori & Suo too. Epi2: Nao Fight 1; Nao Wins Epi3: Nao Fight 2; Nao Loses Epi4: Mikoto Fight 1; Mikoto Wins Epi5: Mikoto Fight 2; Mikoto Loses Epi5; Taizo Fight 1; Taizo Wins Epi6; Taizo Fight 2; Taizo Loses Which probably means we'll get a Masanori win Epi7, then a loss in Epi8. And so on with Suo (though I also think Suo might be the one to actually knock Akina out of the Fated Clash)
Suo will eat masanori alive if masanori even tries to challenge him, and honestly am all in for it, I want to see masanori get wacked across the room from suo
I feel like not being clan locked allowed for more unique designs that were just tied to the nation, while keeping some clan aesthetics like with the Diabolos deck, but being able to expand to new Aesthetics like the blitz company or Drajeweled

Finally Taizo stopped being a jobber, it is quite credible that he ended up winning, Mikoto just played the physical format while Taizo is a professional with quite a bit of experience
For the third round I think it would be very interesting if Taizo won. It broke the idea of the protagonist always winning a little and shows why Taizo was one of the finalists in the other season.
And it also kind of encourages people to buy Mikoto's deck more, as it shows that it's not weak, just that she was dealing with someone much more professional than her at that moment.

14:42 -2000? In the original series, only Zeal series have the unique skills to decrease opposing Vanguard's power, but, I don't think I've ever seen a unit that ever got power on the negative, heck, I always thought 0 is the lowest number you can get by decreasing a Vanguard's power.
Alestiel can do that too with her signature rear guard. This way so that when they pull damage trigger their atk power is not 10k but 8k meaning more cards to guard

These are just OG fans that can't stop riding on nostalgia so they hate anything that is new and different. The same happened with Pokemon Horizons luckily Horizons is actually doing better than some old Pokemon animes.

Im so happy Taizo won though, he seriously got disrespected last season, but the way Mirei went out what's a bit sad falling along with the battle there wasn't much he could do with anything in her hands at the best she'd be able to guard two attacks but not all as she said personally even if I couldn't do anything I wouldn't take it I would fight until I had absolutely no moves left and even then there's still the drive check it's unlikely but it's possible but I can understand the early Tapout.
Now ask for the next match up with Taizo vs Akina I'm a little annoyed I mean I understand that if it's not Akina That Taizo goes against even if Suave saitama loses against that edge Lord with no purpose Taizo would more than likely still have to fight either Akina or the edge lord. Ok so the masked guy is still going around pestering the other participants, he really seems to focus on Akina, as well as the fated one of zero.
I would if the fated ones of miracles and zero have some great importance in Clay, and that if they win, one or the other will screw people over. People already theorized that Akina will sacrifice his life to save his sister's, but for Zero...i think he will straight up unalive his human partner once he's done with the tournament.

I wish they used Motion Figure Systems in this series, it'd make the fights more exciting. And they'd be very appropriate for what's essentially a Holy Grail war from Fate in a card game anime
@BushidoRoad congrats, you just explained what would be an added bonus to seeing motion figure systems being used again
unfortunately that would involve more animation work and would probably hurt the animation the current series have, it hurt the OG a lot, the animation in the OG is just bad.
So I rather have only the last scenes animated, it's a more realistic approach but also gives the animators more time to perfect said animation in the fight scenes.
Also I like creativity and OG Vanguard to me felt like it was trying too hard to be similar to Yugioh, which is probably why I didn't enjoy it.
D series tho I like it more because it's a different approach which makes it unique to Vanguard it's not something done before, since most card animes tend to imitate the Yugioh format, for example Shadowverse, Build Divide, Duel Masters all were similar to Yugioh.
I think it gives Vanguard a different identity, more unique than the other card games.
OG felt too similar to all the other card games animes out there
@@symphonixblades Maybe card-game wise, but the stories were compelling. Currently the story is progressively devolving to the point this one is literally a tournament arc right from the start, and given the format the "story" feels cramped which doesn't give time to get attached to the characters in order to feel their wins and loses...unless they are from previous series (which has the same problem BUT is a "short screen time" x2 so it compensates).
Even most of the "dreams" they have doesn't have that weight or urgent in paper/script: Akina's sister is not even with her days counted, and Mikoto's fears was effectively going to be overcome in battle whatever her result would end up being.
For starters, having just 6 people in main cast is a good decision and it should help to attachment problem, but so far even Taizo (a returning character) is just characterized but not explored. The same can be said with Megumi.
@@667Kero you can't compare a story from a weekly Anime to a monthly anime. Why not? Weekly animes had more time to do the story, more episodes, monthly animes have less episodes, less time to do the story so they have to do it in 12 /24 episodes.
With that said while they have less time for the story, one of the advantages is that monthly animes have more time to do animation than weekly animes, which is why D series have way better animation than the OG series, cuz the animators had more time and less pressure.
@@symphonixblades While true at first glance, it is also related to the director's ability to write compelling stories in short time. For example, there was an experimental show of 12 episodes that had each one directed by a different person. One episode was directed by Naruto's author and as an episode in a vacum, it is a solid piece in the emotional side. Despite the author itself not being able to have the same results for his main characters in Naruto most of the time.
My friend said, compared to other fated card, LM fated card, Krysrain, is the weakest in terms of gameplay. idk if that's true or not, I am still trying to get into vanguard again after last playing in G era

You can't just put anything there. it must be put by a card effect
It not only places 2 order cards, but also operates 1, so welstra can double operate by itself in that turn. Also, freishutz and the satellite cannot be places normally in the order zone, they have to be places by an effect, It has less to do with the order zone and more to do with the product cards themselves.

I feel like not being clan locked allowed for more unique designs that were just tied to the nation, while keeping some clan aesthetics like with the Diabolos deck, but being able to expand to new Aesthetics like the blitz company or Drajeweled
