Great channel and great advice, I have found that you do need to get a few reviews, people tend to read the reviews first and don't often read the introduction. Consequently the worst reviews are often the first reviews, someone is looking for an academic study on a topic, and instead in a few cases for me anyway, they have purchased a book where the target audience is teens.
Thank you for this - I’ve been trying to figure out how my ARC can leave a review, but it seems there is a min spend of $50 before they can even write a review. That’s why I’ll just wait for organic reviews just like you said - thanks again!!!
I love your channel❤ Question: you mentioned friends can leave reviews. I was told if you are friends with anyone on Facebook or any social media, that they cannot leave you a review. Is this true?
It's not advisable. Amazon tend to remove reviews from friends or family. It's better to get your friends and family to spread the word about your books rather than getting them to leave reviews. Amazon knows if there is a connection.
