This was super helpful, even though I haven’t really started making long form vids, I definitely want to sooner than later. Actually, i think the only thing holding me back right now is school (a little amount), and mainly because I’m “scared” or “nervous” how it’ll all turn out, even if I post on a good schedule.
If you stay consistent, and continue to slowly improve your videos, you will grow. Working around your schedule is definitely a tough part of it all, I feel that same struggle. Just do your best!
This was really well explained, and with the example plus what you actually made, it makes it wayyyy easier to understand. You earned a sub. Keep it up!
I just watched one of your videos of you buying an m1 macbook air. The editing is so clean that i had to come ask about your export settings in resolve. What bitrate do you use?
LOLL it definitely could be! I shoot in h.264. I just assume h.265 is better for uploading because it's a more efficient compression process, so more detail and data in just as small file sizes. idk lol just my assumption.
Been following you since the beginning man. Your videos are some of the best i’ve seen on youtube. I had just started getting into this tech stuff around the same time you were starting to get up off the ground and you’ve definitely given some of the best insights on everything. Forsure had a major influence on my new camera/gear/accessory purchases and had the best tips for editing. This channel will recieve its recognition, keep going brother! Looking forward to the next one.
Your channel is so underrated. I have a shorts channel, but I am starting to work more on another long form video channel and have been really struggling with script writing and presentation. How do you do your scripts? Just an Outline? word for word? Thanks
I appreciate it! My scripts are typically word for word and I memorize a sentence or two at a time to recite to the camera (hence all the cuts). I would love to just do an outline and speak freely but I'm not confident enough in my words to be able to do that just yet lol
The most I've made from affiliate marketing in one month is 100$ If you can build a loyal audience that trusts you, affiliate marketing is a good revenue stream
Dude your content is awesome, just subbed! Dope graphics, nice angles, good commentary, and the tracers...I think you have everything you need. CapCut is a super powerful free editing program (as cliche as that sounds), you already have a decent wireless mic, and the video quality and shots are all really nice! I do have one piece of advice for your the commentary parts though. I'd just try to keep your camera/phone up and away from you as much as possible. You have the wireless mic so it doesnt need to be super close to be able to hear you. Other than that maybe add some music and just keep posting! The views and subs will start rolling in. Oh and I use the Hollyland Lark M2 for my mic and I edit in Davinci Resolve on my PC
People always say, the first 1000 is the hardest. Every milestone after that gets easier and easier as you go (both because you get better at making content and because your content is being seen by more people) It's like a snowball effect. Just gotta keep posting
@@kyle_munoz Thank you so much this made my day I've been asking other creators in my niche advice and some of them gave really short brief answers or didn't respond at all. I really appreciate your advice especially since it came from somebody who was in my shoes not that long ago.
Been creating videos for 2 years on self improvement, and still haven't even reached 500 subs. I put really lots of effort into editing, so I guess my thumbnails and titles suck, because the retention on my videos is great
Small channels gather here 🙏🏽 let’s grow together this New Year 💯
Not Small Channels for long!

Thanks brotha! Slowly but surely growin this thing!
I just watched one of your videos of you buying an m1 macbook air. The editing is so clean that i had to come ask about your export settings in resolve. What bitrate do you use?
I appreciate it man! I export in 4K, H.265 at 35mb/s (35000kb/s) per TH-cam's recommendation.
@kyle_munoz i thought youtube didn't like h.265😂 do you shoot in h265 and upload it in h265 as well?
I think this topic needs a video on its own😂
LOLL it definitely could be! I shoot in h.264. I just assume h.265 is better for uploading because it's a more efficient compression process, so more detail and data in just as small file sizes. idk lol just my assumption.
@kyle_munoz whatever works man. If you ever get to make that video then I'll definitely watch it. My post notifications are om😂
I appreciate you bro! I'll see if I can do some more research on this

I appreciate it!
Keep it up Kyle!
Thank you! I will!
For Adsense you don’t make money off cpm, cpm is what advertisers pay TH-cam, RPM is what you earn on that advertiser spend from your video
Ok got you, thanks for the correction

1000% that’s all it takes
Hey, just wanted to know what microphones you use and what you use to edit your videos on, or what you would recommend to a person like me with
I was also shocked by how quick you got monetized and how quickly you went from 1k subs to 3.86k subs.

yeah if retention is good throughout the video, your Titles and Thumbnails need work. Titles get the eyes, thumbnails get the clicks 👍
Nice channel :)
Thanks for the visit!
Dude, 2-5 CPM is WAY too low for a sponsor
lol this was straight from Google
@ gotcha, if you ever get a sponsor offer for 5$ as a tech channel, laugh at them. Good luck!
LOLOL I will now! Thanks!
Good❤
