Your page is beautiful Niamh 😍 it reminds me of a multicoloured rainforest! I love it! ❤ you have inspired me to work in my journal tomorrow! I love the whole organic shape of your background!
AWESOME niamh. i would really luv to see you do this in normal time one day instead of having it fast forwarded. i almost get dizzy watching it lol nahhh...not really, but you NEVER go over a line or make a mistake. i luv yr colours.
This is a really gorgeous page and a great idea... I have so many pens/markers/crayons (oh, just everything!🙄) and I hardly ever use some of it, so I will be trying this soon to use some of those supplies. I just found your channel recently and I love it! Thanks so much for sharing. 😄💜
I love this Niamh! It looks gorgeous. You always have loads of cool tips and you introduce me to new arti products I need, yes need to buy. When you turned your page over, I tried to get a look at your previous page. Congrats on being asked to teach the teacher! 🙂💎
Janine Slater thank you Janine:) glad you enjoyed it and hope you have fun creating your own. here is the link to the page you were looking for. It was a super quick one to complete:) th-cam.com/video/VTzIgQYmmyA/w-d-xo.html
This is amazing, do you have a list of the pens etc that you used? I need to get more supplies ,I basically only have some poscas and stabilos. I didn’t know there was such a range of markers. Love your work
I can't really remember what I used in this, but the whole point of this exercise is to test what you have and see what it does :) This is something i do with my kids in class to find out what materials/pens/pencils work over the top of other materials. I would try out some writing pens, texts (felt tip markers), colour pencils, gel pens, whiteboard markers, oil pastels, glitter pens, basically anything you can get your hands on at home. From memory I think I used some Jane Davenport pens and drama sticks (like a very soft oil pastel) but it can be hard to source her stuff. Hope this helps:) Thank you so much for watching and I hope you have a go at making your own x
Love this art piece! I'm fascinated with mark making at the moment. At around the 6:25 mark, you mention a quill pen for the rain drop effects -- can you tell me the brand name -- it sounded like lysix? Would love to locate this type of pen. Thank you!
For a moment I thought you were going to leave some white space! No chance. I now have some thing else that I will need to try. First I have to get beyond my battle with the Stabilo pencil. I love how this turned out and it does indeed remind me of the sea.
I tried using it once and I thought that it looked so sloppy afterwards. I didn’t even think about being able to remove it while it was still wet. I am actually trying to emulate what you did in your video with the Jane Davenport face stencil. I am now up to the part where you use the Stabilo to outline the face and have been at that point for the past three days! I guess I should play with it on scrap paper first and just move on. Worst case scenario, I can just use the stencil. My stencil is different than yours and is a smaller scale. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Bonnie Miller hi Bonnie- they are from an Etsy shop called designs by Rachel Beth- she is on Instagram too. She has become overwhelmed with orders so only updates the shop on fridays USA time with a limited amount. However- it is worth the wait!

We call it bladder wrack in UK I think.
Could you please repeat the name of the person who makes those delicious metallic watercolour plants? I love what you do xxx
