    My fave! I crave them and head for McDonalds bakery on Argyle Street in Glasgow to gorge on them. Not available in Canada, so thanks for the video. I also like them with coconut in the icing. Cheers

    Simon, thanks for yet another excellent video. Made the Viennese Whirls and shortbread and both turned out as expected, very tasty. The only problem is the more of your videos I watch the longer my cooking list gets. Well its not that much of a problem.

    My oven does not the temp number you have said so then what number can I put it on

      If your oven doesn’t go to gas mark 7 or 220 degrees Celsius then I would put your oven on the hottest it would go and just keep an eye on them.. the cooking time will vary but just wait until they are nice and golden

    This is Paul Holliwoods recipe except for one difference. He calls for 140mls water, you say 100mls.As someone who has just been up to her eyes in chewing gum dough I would say you are right. I didn't even use his 140 mls and it was a sticky mass. Next time 100mls it is and I will then see if it needs extra.

      Yes it is very British. I live close to a bakery and I always used to go get a iced bun after school. Although they were less fancy than these ones. It used to be a bit of icing on top of a roll 😂. If you can get the ingredients you should give it a go. You won’t be disappointed. I hope you are staying safe over there.     Simon I think you're an awesome baker, but to improve presentation and taste, you need to glaze the buns as soon as they are out of the oven.

      Definitely 💪🏼 I’m just to lazy to get the kitchen aid out and I understand not everyone can afford to own one. A whisk is very cheap and gets the same result.
