Thanks for the fair shake!
The blue really pops, the grey one seems more versatile, so it makes sense
Thanks for watching!!
I am a big fan of grey in general. IDK how I feel about the green GMT hand, though. I think a red would look better and maybe save the green for the black dial.
@@Mister_Phafanapolisyeah I can’t say I’ve seen that combo often, it’s unique but a little distracting. The green with the black and the red with the gray would make more sense to me. I do like that they tried to have some bold elements on a more reserved color tone though
@@Mister_Phafanapolis Green seems to be a color they like to use on a lot of models. More so than other brands I've noticed. It would definitely be interesting to see an all grayscale model without the green hand, but I don't mind a pop of color either. Thanks for watching!
Really nice color. I like the hammer dented texture finish. The blue was a nice call.
I agree!
The blue dial one is amazing! Mine runs +1 to -1 sec a day. The dial is amazing and the quality is great. I got the isl18 as well and its a stunner.
Very nice! They really are great pieces! Thanks for watching!
I think that it comes together well, and I am tempted. The only slight change that I would prefer would be dots for the minute markers. I think that it would look cleaner and show off the hammered texture in that area better.
Agree that there are some things that could definitely be tweaked. It would be very easy for this watch to have too much going on design wise. It may already have too much in some people’s opinion
Blue is a bit loud for me. Grey may be a bit too subtle. Nice interesting watch though. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching! Would love to get my hands on the gray one someday
Beautiful watch!!! ❤❤❤
I agree! Thank you for watching!
He did a fantastic job with these, I ordered one along with the other GMT’s he did. Can’t wait for them to show up
Enjoy it! What color did you go with?
@@gadgetbeacon I got the green diver and the black dress watch. These look amazing
@@Friends_and_fragrances Which diver did you go with? I have their Green SandsPoint Titanium and I love it
@@gadgetbeacon the Calabro! The GMT diver in green. I actually really want the sands point!!!
I see a lot glare on mine. Is it missing AR coating on the sapphire?
It has inner AR coating!
Is it a good watch for a 1st watch?
First watch ever or first mechanical/automatic watch? Islander is a great brand to start with. They make awesome watches at an affordable price point
