I was born less than 10 years after the war. My uncle served in the KOCR, my great uncle served in the RCAF, my mother was a war worker in Montreal.
I've been trying to honour them and all those who served during that time.
But how do you honour the greatest act of self sacrifice in history?

This was well done. At first I thought this would be a PR film for Air Canada, but then I stated crying at first sight of the Canadian cemetery. I have great memories of my Juno Beach visit last year.
We salute all those who risked and gave up their lives for our freedom. A heartwarming story, good on you Harry - a true survivor.

Armistice Day/Veterans Day.
So Air Canada just changed my flight to a day early with an extra 7 hours of layovers and just said "sorry for the inconvenience". Seriously?! I should be entitled to a full refund or at the very least be offered an upgrade to first class. I can't get a hold of anyone from Air Canada through email so my only recourse is to go all over social media with my issue. Worst airline ever.
