I had to pause at 14:37 to let Joey know I am now covered in Goosebumps! What an incredible interview. The number #20 Story. How Humbling! And the Father Son experience with his Dad and now Paying it forward with his son. Really touched my heart ❤️. Thank you Kenny Wallace for your Dedication to this Great Sport.
What an amazing episode. I've never been a Logano fan, but not a hater either but I learned so much about him in this. The money part is the biggest problem in racing today, and it's degrading the field overall. Kids need 8 figure bank accounts to even get a chance to see an opportunity at the Cup level.
What a great interview with Joey Lagano. I have gained a whole new perspective for that race driver. My hats off to him and he is a great representative for the sport of NASCAR. Even though he drives a Ford, He has gained another fan in me 1:00:32
Not pressure but breaks your heart knowing there's a child that doesn't know where he's going to sleep tonight and it takes a special kinda man to do something about it extremely decent man thank you sir
Such a great one on one interview. Awesome job Kenny . Best interview I have ever seen with Joey. Really enjoyed seeing the real Joey Logano. He had a blast and just seeing him laugh and joke and yet be serious . We don't get to see this side of Joey too much. We'll done to both of you.... I look forward to more of the Kenny conversation videos.
This is probably one of the best KENNY conversations so far with Joey. Thank you Kenny for making this happen also know this your growing the sport these conversations are getting a lot of attention in the garage and all the fans
The most grown-up Joey Logano interview out there. You have a unique flow to your questions too. You make chapters. Very cool! Lofty goals, real conversation, JL22 toes the line outside the car incredibly well. Inside, he's the most like Senior. Many thanks!
I was never before a big fan of Joey, I tend to hold grudges (eg. Pocono) but after hearing about his foundation and his words about foster kids (I am a foster parent) I have gained a whole new respect for him
I have to say, I have not been a big Joey Logano fan UNTIL today. This has been the VERY BEST interview I've ever watched. It was Real, it was Truthful and it was Sincere. Kenny, you always bring out the Best in people because you ARE the Best!! #TheKennyConversation
Kenny, great job getting Joey on the show and to focus on more than just racing. Joey is an unbelievable person that I have had the pleasure of knowing for many years. The same can be said for Brittany, Tom and Debbie, all fantastic people that have taught me and countless others how to be successful. Best wishes for continued success! Thanks Kenny for sharing with all of us, great job!
As always, awesome video! I've met Joey three times here in New Hampshire, he is so friendly and down to earth. I love the guy, he's so generous and humble. He is an excellent role model and ambassador for Nascar.
This was one I watched all the way through with no fast forward or jumping around. I did pause briefly to check out the "Studio" witch I knew nothing about. Great conversation with a great driver, well done Kenny, and thanks to Joey for being your guest.
I'm a Larson fan, and my wife is a Logano fan. I believe both are certainly very talented and are good young men. I enjoyed the interview with Joey, Herm!
Thank you both for a great Kenny Conversation, I have been a fan of Joey since he first came up to cup, he is a great man and driver, always has time for his fans and his foundation and everyone at the track. This conversation has been inspiring and shows how much you both care about the great sport of racing, so again, thank you both!
Great show. Joey extremely smart young man. Nice to see he recognized the need to build a future outside of racing. Kenny you have so much knowledge. I would love to see a show where Dale Jr and you go against each other in a charity competion with questions on nascar history. What a event that would be. Thanks for being a ambassador of racing😊
What an awesome interview Kenny! Joey is a class act for sure and I learned some things I never knew about Joey. Like I've said before all of your interviews are top notch. Always makes my day listening to your shows. Oh by the way we share the same birthday's Mine is 8/23/53. Honestly I didn't think I'd live to see 70 but I guess the Lord isn't done with me yet. I knew I had a connection with you somehow and our birthdays prove it!
Every single episode I watch I say this is the best one yet. You are honing your craft Kenny and this one was just on point perfect. I love how there is no dictated question after question but just a question that then naturally flows Into conversation. 💯
I really appreciate the interesting folks you have on your program Kenny. Amazing to see the different facets of the people you interview. Joey Logano is such a fantastic person. Keep up the great work !
The people who boo Joey at driver introductions don’t really know him and the man he is. He’s a fantastic person and when he talks we should all listen because we can all learn from what he has to say.
I remember his first few years in the cup series. Other drivers hated him picked on him wrecked him did everything they could do to the kid. Joey is one of my favorites!
I'm not a Joey fan... but after seeing him with his race suit off Real person I have the upmost respect for him.... enjoying both of you thank you Joey 😊☺ you guys are the best love 💘your show
Geeezzz. Listening to him say he isn’t that special and got fired. My god man he really was thrown in and expected to do so much quickly. Really is humble. He has to be in the conversation as the best active cup driver like really
Also Jeff Gordon said it was important to him that his kids remembered him winning. When Joey said that I thought of Jeff. I really get that cause I would want that also
Kenny, I have enjoyed every one of your “conversations” so very much. My hubs & I have been JOEY fans from the beginning, have met him several times, saw him interacting with children & fans at a foundation event at Fontana. He is so genuine & gracious. His talent racing is wonderful & ongoing. We can’t do the races like we did but enjoy coverage. Your YT has been great. Conversations have been a definite plus. Love & Hugs to you & your Kim. I loved the show with her and her craft room…amazing. ❤️✝️🇺🇸‼️
I gained a lot more respect for Joey. When he first came on and probably almost exact same time with Brad Keselowski I did not like their attitude but then I realize it’s that way with all new young drivers and it’s the same everywhere including other sports and the like it’s called “MATURITY” same with Austin Dillion, TY, Chastain and a few others. I Just this minute realized I did not feel this way with Kyle Larson, William Byron and Alex Bowman.. Could this be a part of Mr Hendricks (the Boss) way to choose who will be in his stable ?? Speechless…such a great interview! Your strength in your interviews Herm is your ability to let the people talk and not interrupt their thoughts! That is a craft these days.
Kenny, Thank you so much for creating Kenny Conversation. It is great to learn and hear about these great drivers. I love it. Joey, Austin and Blaney are my favorites. Before them, Rusty. Mr. Penske had his Indy shop in Reading, PA and he had an open house in the spring. My Dad and I always went to see the new cars. Made me a supporter of any driver that works for him! Thanks to all the drivers and others in racing for participating!
Awesome to hearJoey, being interviewed by the brother of the driver whose spot he replaced, as my favorite driver! I wholeheartedly agree w/his take on penalties. Before, there was so many loopholes or shared blame, for infractions, they couldn’t levy heavy penalties, most times. Now, since they’re not doing their own builds, & buying all the parts, they can’t shift blame, when something doesn’t meet the requirements. And, teams are learning, they can’t hide modifications as much as they used to, & also know 1 penalty could ruin their whole yr!
Herman , I have to say. After listening to this interview with Joey, I have the utmost respect for him. He’s not my favorite Driver but he’s definitely given me the appreciation of the person behind the Driver. Great job Herman. Great interview Brother!!!
Kenny, Great interview with Joey. I have a newfound respect for Joey. The way you're going Herm, I'm going to be rooting for everybody on Sunday HAHAHA. Absolutely love The Kenny Conversation. Can't wait for the next interview. How do you keep hitting it out of the park in the bottom of the ninth with 2 outs and the bases loaded is beyond me.

I look forward to these interviews every week. It's fun to learn things about the drivers I grew up with. You bring out the best in them Kenny. These interviews are the best!
Nice thing to say. I also have a family member with Alzheimer's and he always wanders over and sits to watch a Nascar race on TV. Sometimes is a riot to listen to him complain about what happens during a race. Not to be disrespectful but sometimes the comments are real fresh and graphically crude. He wasn't a person to use curse words much, before he got sick. This years Daytona 500 he was quietly watching when he suddenly said to me, "where is Dale Earnhardt" I said that he doesn't drive anymore. A few minutes later he said to me with tears rolling down his cheeks, He's dead, isn't he?" It puts everything in life in a different light. I hope they find a cure for Alzheimer's someday. Joey is my Nascar guy and since I love to see interviews with him, this one makes my day.
@@KennyWallace36 Stenhouse should be fun, can't wait for that. Keselowski is a co-owner now, so will be cool to hear how he likes it so far. Love the question you’ve been asking Kenny about the fines and suspensions this year in NASCAR! My suggestion is all the money raised from the fines, should go to charity! It’s not like the France family needs the money! Why not do the right thing for humanity i.e. your future clients!
I feel the same way about this, I am trying to get into a legend car right now and start my career, but I do not know how high I will be able to go because of money, and I am a good driver. It stinks because I think I could perform at a high racing level, but I don’t think I will be able to get there because of money.
Really enjoyed that episode Kenny ,and it confirmed what ive been saying all along people have the misconception that they are watching the best drivers in the world (thats how they get introduced)but there watching the ones that can get the money, you dont see 80% of the other sports players that all thier parents are of means or have a legendary or recognizable name that makes sponsors feel comfortable and therefore gives them a leg up! Its actually a joke to me the way people view nascar, Its a marketing enterprise that uses racing as its platform and money as its guide .Its not hardcore racers that scratched and clawed and WON tons of races across the country and earned thier name and reputation as a great driver its just whoever brings the money period! there are exceptions dont get me wrong but for the most part its just money and thats it! So i always chuckle when there coming to green and the announcers say and here they come the 38 best drivers in the world! A better intro would be here comes the luckiest SOBs on the planet! Keep up the conversations kenny they are exceptionally interesting and give alot of insight!
I was never a fan of Logano, always rooted against him. But, over the last several years, I've really started to respect him and like him. He's a good guy but on the track he doesn't take sh*t. Plus, he'll do what it takes to win, even if others don't like it.
Sup Kenny I’m in the middle of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Movie 🍿 🎥 🎦 “DAYS OF THUNDER” I was thinking about all the history of the sport and I remembered when you had a couple cars at Lakeside Speedway for rent. Cash for number of laps like “Richard PETTY”Driving Experience on asphalt except yours was on Dirt. So I thought I’d take a break and see what your doing and who your talking too. I’ve made this part of my regimen of The Racing Sport and i enjoy all that you do in YOU TUBE. Like Joey my dad took my to dirt tracks tarting at age 2. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to drive a Race car even if it’s just 4 or five laps. It’s on my bucket list. I’m 66 Kenny and your podcasts and your tube stuff keep these moments alive in me and I’m sure thousands of others. I always wanted to race but I thought according to my family’s wishes it was MARRIAGE a three bedroom house, A white picket fence and all that and racing is so expensive I didn’t know how to make that part of my life BUT I CAN DREAM KENNY Thank you Kenny for all you do.
Good thoughts on his view that families are making racing more like a job right off the bat now instead of keeping it fun but I do wonder if part of the reason is because the cost to go racing is so high, people are putting every penny on their kid to "make it" while risking everything financially. I recall AJ Allmendinger saying his family had to mortgage their house 3 times for him to climb the ladder. In another interview with Motocross champion Grant Langston, he told a story of when he was a kid racing and going through a tough time, he told his dad he didn't want to race anymore and that he "wanted to go home." His dad bluntly said, "You don't get it. We don't HAVE a home anymore..." as they had put everything into Grant making it (which he did). But that's a lot of pressure for a kid to be responsible for their entire family's economic success or failure while trying to succeed in a sport that has so much risk. It's almost like selling everything you have to try to win the lotto. So when families are overextending their finances to go racing, I can understand why some treat it more seriously at an earlier stage than others. And even if they do make it, they might be so burned out that it eventually affects their results as a pro. This happens a lot in motorcycle racing where inevitable injuries and constantly having to rehab from them take a toll.
I think you’re more fascinated by some of the answers and stories in this interview than anyone else, which makes it that much better. Great job Herm!

Our favorite driver by far, his parents have to be so proud of the young man Joey is. He is always giving to others.

I was never a fan of Logano, always rooted against him. But, over the last several years, I've really started to respect him and like him. He's a good guy but on the track he doesn't take sh*t. Plus, he'll do what it takes to win, even if others don't like it.
A cup driver who finishes last, is still a cup driver.
Sup Kenny I’m in the middle of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Movie 🍿 🎥 🎦
“DAYS OF THUNDER” I was thinking about all the history of the sport and I remembered when you had a couple cars at Lakeside Speedway for rent. I always wanted to race but I thought according to my family’s wishes it was MARRIAGE a three bedroom house, A white picket fence and all that and racing is so expensive I didn’t know how to make that part of my life BUT I CAN DREAM KENNY
Thank you Kenny for all you do.
Howdy Hermie and Joey 🏁🏁
This interview was good groceries!
Best driver in the sport. Go Joey!
