But it´s the intention the vibration behind, what I mean is you have to be in a calm mind of gratitude and thankfulness before you start to pray. Because what you think about you bring about we have enough of bad energy in this world as is. Every day when I wake up in the morning and just before I fall a sleep I go throu all the things in my life that I am grateful for and say. I´m thankful and grateful for... thank you thank you thank you. Don´t just say the words feel them!!! ("example" I´m thankful and grateful for my health thank you thank you thank you) This puts me in a more grateful and thankful energy and more things that I am grateful and thankful for does showup in my life, do this exercise and then pray just after doing it because it will put you in the right enegy to recive your blessings.

These prayers, as well as the 15 prayers of St Bridget in honor of the holy wounds which Our dear Lord suffered during His Sacred Passion. it's quite simple, at least to me - a pagan it's just that religious traditions like christianity and British paganism (or even Norse in this case) seem to have some things in common, thus creating syncretism. Just like Greeks and Egyptians united their deities - Apis and Osiris into one - Serapis. That's why they worshipped this deity united and in peace. Similarly, in my opinion, Christians and Pagans could do the same, merging their traditions, exchanging ideas and deities. Quite a beautiful things I must say, building bridges like this, while still staying 100% true to your own religion
