Join us in celebrating World Environment Day with a historic technological achievement! 🌍🚁
DJI is thrilled to have participated in the world's first drone deliveries on Mount Everest. Partnering with @8krawfilms drone service company Airlift, and Imagine Nepal mountain guide Mingma G Sherpa, we successfully conducted the first drone delivery tests on Everest.
DJI FlyCart 30 was used to transport oxygen bottles from Everest Base Camp to Camp 1, from 5,300 to 6,000 meters above sea level. On the return trip, FlyCart 30 brought back 15 kg of trash.
🏔️ Mount Everest logistics fall on the shoulders of local guides who risk their lives carrying supplies up, and trash down. These pioneering flights showcase how drones can enhance safety on the mountain and contribute to a cleaner environment. 🌱

One day
牛逼!!!
Very impressive.
Would be even more impressive if people would bring their crap back down the mountain.
OMG ITS JERRY!
I honestly didn't have "use delivery drones on mount Everest" on my 2024 bingo card
@jerryRigEverything when you are coming on everest ?
The ultimate stress test: Everest
you need to make vidoe on dji drone ban in USA. Bring some awareness so we can stop them from getting banned
Many lives are gonna be saved and Everest will also be clean. Who would have thought about it. Great work DJI
@@bricktimelapsebuilds Yeah i agree. People always go with the path of least resistance, and in this case it will result in them just leaving the garbage where it is. This is just DJI's marketing team coming up with random ideas.
Pretty sure not, after that filming no drone left there. Just a marketing trick.
This was a test. Where are you taking from that this is a regular thing now? Did you watch the video? Also, the drone never ascended higher than 5500m, so how does that help the garbage and delivery situation on the higher third of the mountain?
You must be really naive to think this...
@@Thevikingcam Exactly!
Love this DJI Team 👏🏻 Solving real world problems
it will only do it for making video afterward it will leave doing it
@@hypemythyt6030 That's when the airlift technology start creating money. They were there for testing and it is successful
real world problems like rich people wanting to climb a mountain

I love how technology and especially DJI is making all those efforts to make earth a better place and fight for climate change. Great Job DJI! Step by step we will make.! Have a mini 4 pro so kinda hard lifting stuff...lol! Good work and continue like this! Let's fight for climate change with technologie!
4 minutes isn't longform. Gold fish attention span.

BBC: China take over the jobs from Sherpa
Awesome. Now can you deliver me to Mount Everest so I don't have to climb it?
😂😂😂😂
Don't give uber and justeat ideas with this drone
@@MiaTheDreamer I watched his entire journey. So happy for him that he reached the summit and ascended down safely
@@Dan84888 Ah, good to know.. :)
Pretty sure I've read somewhere there's a commercial airlift drone in the work. It's just a matter of time😉
DJI has created a revolution in transportation. Previously, transportation to challenging terrains such as Everest are either close to impossible or perhibitably expensive, DJI not only make it possible, but done cheaply and safe. They are the absolute hero of technology world, that definitely will save lives, you cannot say that the vast majority of technology companies.
It's just a drone company, there are other manufacturers you can choose to do this job.
DJi is an amazing company!
game changer, DJI saving lives!!
Equipment is not worth risking ONE Sherpa life. Glad this option became available. Good work DJI. You are saving lives.

This is the best drone workable project ever and Thanks to DJI for saving our world highest mountain from garbage problem.❤️❤️
DJI as a brand is going to rule the world. Education, Sports, Rescue, Environment, future of aviation (both personal and group), Aviation sports, Conference, Entertainment and few other applications that are yet unexplored but still used. Archaeology, Archival, Warfare and so on. The list is never ending.
Thanks DJI and 8KRAW for such an impressive initiative.

Feel proud after seeing this as a Dji drone owner, good job guys
Besides delivery, drones can also deployed to study the world’s oceans. @oceanalliance latest innovation sees a Matrice series Enterprise drone used to precisely drop tags on the backs of whales, so researchers can study their behavior as they swim beneath the surface. The advancement of drones has made so many things convenient, DJI is amazing.
Love this DJI Team
You are dron masters.God bless😊
@DJI Leaving behind tons of garbage on Mt Everest is crazy!!! But, it makes sense, as we humans live for our own comforts no matter where we are, we're bound to have garbage to leave behind. Shout out to the sherpa guides for taking a sacrifice to keep the mountains as free of garbage as possible
So quick math exercise here. A typical climb from base camp to camp 1 is 5 to 8 hours. A sherpa on average carries 20 to 30kg on his back. One drone can deliver almost 15 kg (13.something) to camp 1 in 6 minutes (12 minute round trip time). So, if the drone goes twice then it will have delivered 27 kg in 24 minutes. In 24 minutes it does what a sherpa does in 5 hours (or 8, but let's say five). 300 minutes instead of 24. --> 1 drone = 12 sherpas.
@@SlosII most people will come to the conclusion that they can now fire 12 Sherpas...
@@Shelorygod thats not a problem. Sherpas should have the exclusive right to fly drones in the area.
@DJI KUDOS TO THE ENGINEERS WHO MADE IT HAPPEN IN DEVELOPING SUCH MACHINES TO MANKIND❤❤
Now this is amazing!
DJI drone is for good use only!
That's great 👍👍👍

I became fan of DJI . It is the GOAT. DJI DJI DJI
Wow, that's amazing! Nice work DJI
Wild
WOW. This is amazing. Quiet a revolution
Epic stuff. Love the video. 👏
Excelent DJI Congratulations 👏
Tbh DJI has become the most revolutionary company in this 20's era
Install solar power panels on each of the 5 camps. And then charge the drone with it on every camp step, so that it can fly and deliver cargo from camp to camp, as high as the 4rth camp. Also bring a Starlink to each of the camps. Make the ascension truly safe and technological. DJI could also make a jet engine propelled drone so that it can reach the top of Everest.
Drones get stronger, faster, better. In a few years, the Everest will be completely clean. And some people who died up there could be brought back to their families.
Great initiative. Best wishes for the massive success in future!
Love from country of mount everest Nepal

In 5-10 years DJI will create a drone that will be capable of lifting over 100KG in those heights. This becoming a rescue vehicle for sherpas.
