Glad to hear someone share having had the same experience. I remember being in Crete two years ago and suddenly feeling depressed and panicked after a few days that I was being a “lazy” traveler and not seeing enough-and just then I realized how much pressure I put on myself for not doing enough, even when doing the thing I love most-travel-and the point of travel is to enjoy it. I ended up staying there seven days because instead of constantly being on the go as a solo traveler for once I really took time to spend with new friends and relax. Now I don’t regret it, I’ll be back to Greece and it will always have plenty of islands to see. I learned that lesson but still have to check the pressure (to be a “good traveler”) I put on myself while traveling. Thanks for this!
apart from the beautifull countries she visits what makes this channel special is her fun charachter making light of the situations and her crazy humour. keep it like that kaja!
watching all of your albania videos right now! i’ll be going there in two months. i really like your videos and your editing :) and thanks for the advice to just take it easy and not to put too much pressure on yourself
All credit and debit cards work in Albania, including Amex. The issue is that for some small businesses/ merchants card fees are a bit high, so they opt not to install card termimals. All supermarkets, high street shops, etc. have card terminals installed 🍻
Looks like a nice/mellow place to visit:) I was just recently in Ukraine 🇺🇦 , and plan to go back to Ukraine (and also visit Poland 🇵🇱) in couple weeks. Might have to consider Albania after that:)
I liked your video. The beautiful town and small streets and Cafe's. Geez the suitcase looked like a real struggle. Better luck next time. Thanks for sharing 👍
I'm so glad I just found your channel! You are so refreshing and funny. I'm traveling solo too and I'm in Sarande right now. You are the perfect example of a woman traveling by herself - we experience things unlike any other woman who is traveling with a guy. Completely different experience!
Agree with you about not being so strict or placing so much pressure on ourselves when traveling. Unless you book a tour which requires a specific hour to meet up, I enjoy planning my day according to how I feel, how jet lagged I am, and of course the weather. Doesn't mean I don't feel guilty about not packing as much into a day as I can, but it's more enjoyable to let go of the pressure we put on ourselves. Just have fun, let go, and relish the adventures and downtime if needed. Also solo traveling can be rewarding as you're on your own schedule. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing! x
I'm going there in August..I loved when You talked about doing whatever You want to do while traveling and not feeling like You need to see everything....it has happened to me before .. and yes pick Your fun
Hey Kaja. Travel like you aptly said makes us do things that we wouldn't do in our hometown/country. Thank you for yet another nice vlog from Albania and especially for taking us to lesser known places. BTW, you are becoming a travel philosopher ☺️

Traveling is definitely a hard work, don’t get too overtired, when you can.
