Mark is an exciting drummer-I saw his quartet (with a different pianist) a few years ago at a jazz festival in France. His powerful influence on the direction the music goes reminds me of Tony William's playing in Miles' great quintet. A wonderful upload-thank you.
Well played! But for me it's quite strange to hear drums from the right side perspective. I understand that the set is on the right side, but comparing to piano, which is quite soft for me and is not compensating the weight of the drum (Which sounds really well), sunds for me a bit strange. I have feeling that my left side is not working well. Especially, if you listen it in headphones. I would position drums more to the centre, slightly to the right, to have feeling that it is there. I would give piano more sparkliness. Overall, it's pretty well! Congrats to musicians.
please lord i pray that one day you give me the wisdom and skill to tune my toms as nice as Mark does his.
Yea, man, thats an insane sound

Love this. Great to see Shai Maestro and Mark Guiliana playing together again outside of the Avishai Cohen Trio.
