-"I AM FIRE, I AM DEATH" -"I loooove you" :D
such a simple line, but how he saids it so memorable!
One of the most unexpected replies to "I AM DEATH!"
Lol 'I am fire...I am death" - "I love you " 😂😅😂❤😂😂😂😅 classic!
Scenes with Smaug really elevated this movie. Benedict Cumberbatch did a fantastic job voice acting him
Yep, behindme breakmyback is a very good actor
He did not only the voice acting, but also motion capture.
"They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard!"
One of the most brilliantly baffling memes ever. 😂😂😂
Laura simps fot Azog, Magy simps for Smaug. It just gets worse and worse. 😂😅🤣
Good girls attracted to all the bad guys... who knew 😂
@@vkdeen7570or bad dragons... 👀
@@CougheePls can't go wrong with Bad Dragon
What's truly terrifying, is that Smaug is one of the smallest dragons in Middle Earth's history....
Most of the big ones died in the War of Wrath
They actually call him "shorty pants..."
Smaug is actually one of the largest dragons during the Third Age, but yeah, he’s a little lizard compared to Ancalagon, who could obliterate an entire mountain range in one fell swoop.
Smaug was the last dragon that was able destroy the One Ring with its fire.
Maggie swooning over a dragon is the best thing ever. 😂
I can't blame her lol
Bet she'd be swooning over my dragon, too.
The spiders of Mirkwood are closely related to Shelob we see in The Return of the King, if not outright her spawn. She in turn was the daughter of Ungoliant, a demon spider from outside of Arda (the world where Middle-Earth is set in) with unknown descent. Sauron's ex-master Melkor/Morgoth found Ungoliant and made a deal with her that she would help him get into Valinor (the place where the Valar and Maiar resided across the sea from western Middle-Earth) unseen and to kill the Two Trees (which were the world's light sources before the sun and moon came to be) in exchange for all jewels they could find in Vallinor. She agreed and using her dark aura, she concealed both herself and Melkor/Morgoth so nobody could see them, snuck into the Undying Lands and got to the Two Trees, which Melkor/Morgoth used his sword to slash open a wound on each tree and Ungoliant drained the sap from both, making them wither and die. They then went to Valinor where they stole The Silmarils (three beatuiful and power gemstones containing the light from the Two Trees) and a bunch of other jewels and kills the father of the creator of the Silmarils Fëanor, Finwe. They escape to Middle-Earth and Melkor/Morgoth give Ungoliant all the jewels as promised but withheld The Silmarils, saying they weren't part of the promised pay. Ungoliant who have grown ginormous due to the power from the Two Trees and the jewels demands The Silmarils and when Melkor/Morgoth refuses, she traps him in a giant spider web and is about to eat him, when Melkor/morgoth screamed and his scream was heard by his Balrogs who came and fended the titantic spider with their flaming whips and she fled, hiding somewhere in Middle-Earth. It was rumored that she literally ate herself to death in hiding but not before mating with the lesser spiders of Middle-Earth giving birth to many children, including Shelob.
I didn't know that full history, Thanks!
This is the Empire Strikes Back of The Hobbit movies. The barrel scene is one of my favorites
Guys at 43:00 Thorin's word "If this is to end in fire, then we will all burn together".. is acutally Ed Sheeran's I see fire song lyrics..
Lol, you just like the dragon because his voice is Benedict Cumberbatch :D
She likes dragons in general, if you watch her other reactions. 🐉
@@JedHead77she wants some dragon D. She’s gagging for it

What a weird thing to say
Legolas: "How dare you make me bleed my own blood."
Guys you remember the first lotr (fellowship of the rings)'s beginning? 9 rings for men , 7 rings for dwarves, 3 rings for elves and one ring rule them all moment... That ring at 33:16 was one of the 7 dwarf rings...
Beorn is played by Mikael Persbrant, a swedish actor most known for playing Gunvald Larsson, Martin Beck's co-worker and assistant in the Beck franchise, which is a swedish police detective series of movies. Another well-known role is the title character in the movie Tårtgeneralen (The Cake GeneralI), another swedish movie. He also have dubbed two Disney characters: Shan-Yu in Mulan and Gil in Finding Nemo. The only prostethic he wore was his nose, plus wig and facial hair (and the back hair to emulate bear fur). Originally, Beorn's Bear Form was gonna have blue eyes but it didn't make him feroucious enough so instead Mikael's eye were recolored brown through the color timing in post production.
This movie has the best dragon ever made for a movie
Sorry, but no. Nothing can top Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.
The REIGN OF FIRE dragons still look amazing and are absolutely terrifying.

Random fact: Thrain, Thorin's father, is played by Sir Anthony Sher, one of the greatest Shakespearean actors of the 20th Century.
His memoir YEAR OF THE KING, in which he chronicles his time playing Richard III, is still considered one of the definitive books for actors to read.

Legolas wasn't in the book because Tolkien didn't invent him until he wrote The Lord of the Rings but since elves usually have very long lfie spans (often around some thousand of years old) and Legolas was born some time after the start of the Third Age, he's approxiametly 3000 years, probably less but still over 1000 (Tolkien doesn't specify when he was born) so it's plausable that he was at least around during the time of The Hobbit, probably even participating in the events of the story, so his precense does make sense within Tolkien's thoughts.
5:45 Azog: "No".
Bestie's Reaction: "Because you're really beautiful."
😍Aaw, that warms our heart. Even to characters who are indeed purely evil, just a little amount but strongly fair respect we give them.
Azog: "The Beast stands guard. We wait until they leave."
Magy: "Aahh! Somebody's cared. Beep-beep."
🤔Some particular villains do have a heart for their own. Like according to the Dark Knight Joker's quote:
"If you're good at something never do it for free".
38:54 "Flattery is not helping"; actually it is. Dragon are vain, greedy and callous beyond belief. Flattery won't keep Bilbo alive forever with Smaug but Smaug is so bloated with self-importance that he can't help but enjoy it for a time.
These intros are so hilarious 😂
Don't stress about how you pronounce "desolation" - that's a hard word to pronounce in an excited tone, you did great!
Gandalf's introduction of the company to Beorn, his fidgeting - pure comedic gold 😂
Maybe the signs are not the most subtle, but seeing how the Ring affects Bilbo more and more, especially when it comes to hiding it from Gandalf and being in danger of losing it (the fight against the spiders and that big insect), it reveals a really scary side of Bilbo.
Another interesting aspect - before Bilbo puts the ring on, he can only hear skittering noises but after he does, he understands what the spiders say - this shows us that, in addition to turning the wearer invisible, it also allows the user to understand the languages used by the creatures serving the enemy.
Albeit he does come off as a prick, don't judge Thranduil too quickly. When it comes to petty grudges, nobody does it better than the elves and the dwarves, especially against each other.
That entire barrel-riding scene was so epic, especially once the elves join the fray and we get to see just how over the top Legolas is, the whole time. Dude's a one man army and he's not even breaking a sweat.
After all that intense fighting, we're back to Gandalf taking a hike, almost falling to his death 2 times and discovering that the Nine have indeed returned. You can see how much he cares about the company, how conflicted he is about leaving them to take care of the more important business.
"I freed his wretched head from his miserable shoulders" - he may be a dick but he is a dick with style 😂 Thranduil is so extra, gotta love him.
The dwarves were so quick to assume Bard wanted the money for himself when in truth, he kept none for himself, using it to bribe the guards and buy the fish to cover them in the barrels so they could be properly sneaked into the city. It speaks volumes of Bard's character, even though he gets introduced as an opportunist looking like he's about to scam the dwarves.
24:23 - "bollocks" - yea, the master of the city was eating balls, literally.
29:20 - remember this scene, it's important for the last movie. Bilbo vouching for Thorin's word is such a powerful moment.
Gandalf knowingly walking into Dol Guldur knowing it's a trap, saving Thrain (even if just for a short time) and holding off Sauron for a bit - all proved once again just how capable he is.
You can see how differently Bilbo and Thorin react to seeing all the gold in Erebor - Bilbo is stunned for a moment, after which he starts looking for the Arkenstone. Thorin on the other hand, he just succumbs on the spot, almost turning on Bilbo.
Even though it made for some spectacular scenes, the entire idea of killing Smaug with molten gold was probably not the smartest plan ever, considering our charming lizard is spitting fire whenever he wants to. It did show just how futile any regular methods of killing are against him. If Bilbo hasn't presented himself as a "barrel-rider" during his conversation with Smaug, maybe he wouldn't have turned on Laketown but that's just wishful thinking, he could've easily smelled the humans on Bilbo or on the dwarves.
Thank you for this incredible reaction, really enjoyed every moment of it ❤
"It never ceases to amaze me!" "What?" "The courage of hobbits!"Love Tauriels character the addition of Legolas knew Laura would freak out 😂i love the festival of stars theme and Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug is iconic Awesome reaction guys 😊i love that Laura gets emotional and hit with the feels at all the same parts i do like the dwarves returning to Erebor😂
Man Gandalf is really strong to be able to hold his own against Sauron for that long
Yeah a Sauron who is at like 15% of his maximum power....
Well they both Mayar and similar in strength back in the day, but Mythrandyr (Gandalf) was limited in power when was sent in Middlearth and Sauron was weak in this shadowform so its more like who was better prepared for meeting 🙂
@@Sonofhroft Yes they are both Maiar, but Mithrandir was in mortal form while Sauron wasn't (in the movie, we don't know in the book). All we know from the author is that Sauron reatreated before the power of the White Council. Was it just a magical battle as portrayed in the movie or did the Galadhrim march to war against Dol Guldur? We do know that the Galadhrim fought off several attacks from Dol Guldur under the ringwraiths during the War of the Ring.
Tolkien included spiders in his stories as he was bitten by a tarantula as a kid when he lived in South Africa. He wasn't an aracnophobe, though, unlike director Peter Jackson who used his arachnaphobia to make Shelob and the Mirkwood spiders as scary as possible. He even had a spider character in his earlier movies, the adult South Park-esque Muppet Show parody Meet the Feebles.
@terrylandess6072 Well, there are no spiders in Kong, which is PJ's greatest fear. But I agree, especially those phallic-looking worms (nicknamed Meat Weasels) that devoured Lumpy (Andy Serkis) were the most gross ones. I don't mind bugs overall but I sure don't want to be attacked by huge bugs, like I don't want a lion, tiger, bear, puma, etc. attack me.
I remember watching this at the cinema, was destroyed by the crazy cliffhanger - and knowing we would have to wait so long for the rest.
" l See Fire" became a popular hit, the lrish music group Celtic Woman sang it in the 2015 "Destiny" tour
How increasingly interesting about this video is when you show your tattoo on your right arm, 'If not now then when', shows your expression to mesmerizing stories including this Hobbit movie. Perfect, absolutely purrfect😹.
The lack of punctuation on that tattoo always irks me lol

9:47 On the contrary, Gandalf did know Bilbo has the Ring this whole time. He is playing curiosity and suspicion all at once.😁😁
To answer your question as to why there are so many giant spiders in Middle Earth, Tolkien was bitten by a baboon Spider when he was 4 years old. He claimed that the experience didnt leave him afraid of spiders but definitely had a lot of influence over the existence of giant spiders in Middle Earth.
Beorn was a great character. I wish rhey'd shown him trashing more Orcs, his main hobby. For me a romance between an Elf and an absurdly handsome Dwarf just does not fly and would have turned the great JRR in his grave, but the producers insisted. Evangeline Lilly was terrific though, and in reality much more feminine than her onscreen character. Another disappointment is the confrontation between :Legolas and Bolg, Instead of a gripping contest between brute strength vs speed and agility, we get a poorly choreographed sumo match. Benedict Cumberbatch made for a brilliant Smaug, I must say. Great job as always, Foxy Magic Team.
Magy. Two movies you really will love cause you love dragons are Dragonheart and Eragorn. Especially Eragorn as it is about people mystically bonded to dragons as dragon riders.
I loved the representation of Smaug in this film. As a Monster Hunter player, I really wanted to wear some Smaug armor..😂
First time I've ever heard a woman say "I love you" to Smaug 😂😂😂
"I. Am. 🔥Fire🔥. I. Am...💀Death💀."
"❤🔥I love you❤🔥."
*Ladies giggling*
There's nothing more interesting than falling in love with a villain🤗. Thank you thousands for your reaction.
Magy fan-girling for a dragon is “next level”. Can’t blame her. Smaug is a star!
48:15 soo guys take notes... Unless you are a dragon that spits Fire and threats you with death you have no chances with Magy😂😅
*Magy* Frankly,I can understand WHY people like the Smaug Character...He is not only somewhat witty, and CHARMING,in his own Right..But his..INTELLIGENCE...IS Shockingly HIGH,Considering how the other Villains can be...HE`S NO Idiot....I RATHER LIKE that he IS THIS Intelligent,as well as being rather...VIOLENT,GREEDY,.AND ANIMALISTIC...His VOICE(ALA Cumberbatch) is VERY APPEALING,too. So,Magy, you have good TASTE!
I like hobbit more than rings!!
This is my favourite movie.
KilixTauriel forever❤
Smaug is not biggest of the dragons that existed in Tolkien's world, actually is the smallest, the title of the biggest comes to Ancalagon The Black.
45:14, Damn, that was more firepower than 100 high-tech military flame-throwers! Best CGI dragon I've ever seen in my 62 years. ( Cumberbatch couldn't have done a better job..he made Smaug soiund soooo evil!) Fun reactions, beautiful ladies!
Good one, Ladies! I can't wait to watch the last movie with you now. Thanks for sharing this one. 🙂
Thank you for your excellent reaction this trilogy is very good and I am very glad that you are enjoying them. Bard’s daughters are actually Bofur, (James Nesbit) daughter’s and of course Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch. Please keep making these excellent reactions and enjoying yourselves.
Can't wait for the last one ^^

Liking the Hobbit more is a bit unusual but it's not bad to think that :) They are in the same world but Tolkien wrote the hobbit first and was for a younger audience whereas Lord of the Rings was written for adults. So the hobbit is a little more comedic and merry than LOTR which has a serious tone throughout.
Magi you should watch Beowolf with Angelina Jolle it has a great golden dragon in it.
people seriously need to get over themselves, those that can't handle someone liking a Hobbit movie better than LOTR personally.... the question was not which is the "better" movie and even that question is loaded enough. Laura simply said she "preferred" the lighter story line, a personal choice, she's not voting for an academy award or anything
Go watch 'Benedict Cumberbatch doing motion capture for Smaug' rn! Watch the 17 min version. It's the best thing ever!
13:55 Wasp from Antman.
Hey Maggy just so you know there are bots pretending to be you with a telegram account, they even add ummm inappropriate emojis. Not your fault and I'm not dumb enough to fall for it. Keep up the great content, keep being an itty bitty cutie patutie😊.
The hobbit never gets old
The correct term would be "werebear". Or if you're in a Mel Brooks movie, "Werebear?"...."There bear, there castle". I see Pikachu made it back into the reactions...
I don't understand the hate on The Hobbit movies. I read all the books in high school and though there are some discrepancies, the story still holds up well. The atmosphere is awesome and fits with TLOTR trilogy well enough for me. I love the Hobbit movies. Even stand-alone they are great. Should no one have never heard of the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit story would be loved just as much.
The deliberation of Smaug...Guys that was soo cute.
you two should check out "The Crow" from 1994
Smaug was so good & terrifying.
Hi magy and Laura , So happy to see your reaction to hobbit smaug , I enjoyed your reaction to the dragon scenes and what a surprise to see your reaction to the same movie again a second time Magy 🐉🐉🐲🔥🔥

Magy simping on Smaug.
I wonder how she would react if Magy saw the dragon Ancalagon in this manner.
Magy would cheat on Smaug on a dime for sure haha!
Let's go the film Hobbit 3.
Magy simping for the dragon 😂😂😂
The Legolas in this movie bears no resemblance to the bright-eyed, optimistic Legolas that shows up in Rivendell in FELLOWSHIP.
This Legolas is a glowering, cold-eyed psychopath.
I see that the Pikachu is back 😂
I was never interested in watching The Lord of the Rings, until I went to the cinema and saw all 3 'The Hobbit' movies I fell in love with the story, and then I bought the extended versions of LOTR and The Hobbit too, so there's nothing wrong if you like the Hobbit trilogy less or MORE.
You ought to just read the books at this point really...
Benedict Cumberbatch doing a amazing job as Smaug. Hands down!!!!!
If you loved Smaug, I think you'll love King Ghidorah...
