Well I didn't give my SAT as the most University are SAT optional and the scholarship are given based on your GPA and extra circular activities. Also if you want to pursue something in medical field then I would suggest you to give SAT/ACT as it is required. But if you want to study other field then just English proficiency is enough.

Also with that engage yourself in clubs or community work and also practice SAT from Khan academy for free. Also practice social speaking in any form it will help in your interview to gain confidence

To have good amount of scholarship you need various factors such as good GPA, your involvement in clubs and community work, your essay, SAT (if it is necessary) and yeah somewhere your ielts score also matters but not as much you think. @@SamirChhetri-qq9ps so my GPA on grade 12 is 3.70 with science faculty major being biology and mathematics. My COA is 16190 dollars with 80% of scholarships on my tuition. I didn’t attend SAT exam as it is optional for most of the colleges in USA. I have applied to computer science major with minor on biology for my under-graduation. I have applied to almost 20 universities tbh from common app and finally went forward with JSU. Hope this helps you and if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

For example you can say something like "Officer I wasn't focused on studies while being in the highschool but after having my results in my hand I realised how education can create a path for our career. Thus, I am determined to study hard in my undergraduation ". And also if you have been accepted in the university your gpa is enough and officer are asking you the question just to see how confident you are so be confident while answering the question.
