@@DemonOfTheRockies bit late on this but from personal testing and if you have his augment mod (shadow haze), best go for the one that increases the crit damage (Dreamer's Wrath) as the augment does effect the 3rd ability of the shadow still procs and increases the shadow's overall crit chance. So bigger crit damage is always nice when the tennokai procs. As a bonus, the mentioned mod will also increase the chance for the opprotunity heavy attack. Allowing you to do the that heavy hitting double strike more often.
From my testing the Shadow is already immune to knockdowns so there is no need for primed surefooted like in the video. I tested in simulacrum on fire eximus and heavy gunner knockdown.
Constructive feedback: I wish you would either have a written guide or at the very least screenshots with all the build layouts for the general idea. You zoom in and out of the build screens so quickly that after deciding I do want to try this out I have to skim through 14 minutes of video to find the 2 seconds that you showed the loadout.
At around 1:30 you say that only sow can fill the death well in normal mode, this is false. All abilities aside from exalted shadow build death well in normal mode; this includes reap and gloom, reap applies the same mark as death's harvest and builds death well in the same way ( killing enemies) and gloom is passive death well build up. - sevagoth main
This video is a real revelation. I had completely forgotten about these amalgam mods. So now i'm actually dust them off and Amalgam Furax Body Count caught my eye. It also work in the same way with Sevagoth's Shadow, spreading blast and impact status on kills, with some nice CC on top of that. And now, i want to try synergizing this with a Topaz Shard and his shield regeneration. I don't have any Crimson Shard left for the moment so i have to wait, but i think this could become a funny build ^^
@@DariusDarkest Yes, melee arcanes completely stopped working. DE has been ignoring the exalted weapons for so long now, it's not even funny… These Amalgam mods still work, but now it's only niche use cases and not optimal anymore. I also used Archon Continuity for a while (it work on the Shadow with Toxin on the Claws), but it doesn't count for the new faction weaknessess. It's nice for proccing corrosive and reducing armors, but the Claws are already so powerful, it's not really needed.
If it can carry over melee specific effects, then it can also get the shield gain effect of rakta dark dagger as well And also, for melee vortex, your own melee doesn't have to proc the magnetic status effect, you can instead have you diriga proc that for you and you just slap them with huge slash procs. And boom all enemies are dragged in.
Exalted Claws being able to benefit from melee arcanes and amalgam mods is almost certaintly not intended, so don't be too surprised when it stops working
Seeing as his augment is a massive gun buff when you crank his strength, Total Eclipse will buff his shadow's claws because it's an aura, but it requires Sevagoth to have high duration so you don't have to swap between shadow and warframe to rebuff yourself
I have come to make a pruposal to have crit damage As archon shards carry over to the shadow, i have given up two slots, to have a blue tauforged for energy max and a purple with more crit, the tauforged makes so the shadow reaches 502 max energy, that makes the purple shard double the bonus mele crit damage, just barely, that way you can have the crit damage of Gladiator might, if you tauforge the purple, you can make the bonus almost reach organ shatter This let's you have, two reds, one tauforged blue and a purple, leaving one shard free for whatever you want I personally use 1 Red for streght, 2 blue for armor, 1 tauforged blue energy and 1 purple for mele crit But do whatever you want
2:53 "Shadow Claws have massive slash weights." Proceeds to show Slash damage having ~50% weight. Meanwhile eg. Garuda P Talons have 85% Slash weight. How do we call it? What is much bigger than massive? Humongous? Enormous? Collosal?
Azn have you tried using the theorem arcane for companion damage with Duplex Bond? I started messing around with it earlier and I think it has enormous potential
If you play sevagoth idk why not to use his shadow it’s amazing. Before buffs he was good people just claim Forma investment is bad? He has three things to mod of course you invest but in exchange you get increased additive Crit, percent based damage, gloom, amazing grouping, debuffing, an easy revive, and if you run preparation instant max energy. Without Helminth. This is without shards that let you increase melee damage, duration, strength or corrosive stacks. People are crazy out here.
People not liking the shadow, still won't like it after this little ad of yours. My opinion on the shadow is it's just a very simple version of a frame that is hardlocked into very basic melee play, no amount of "power" will change that.
Not sure if this build still work. I tried using arcane influence on my weapon and it didn't transfer over to sevagoth's shadow claws. I also tried Sancti Magister for the unique passive and that didn't work as well.
Any suggestions on builds that don't rely on anything other than his shadow/main form? Asking since I wanna use it during SP Circuit, but not sure exactly what to run. Thank you :)

But Dispatch Overdrive should work right? Also what do you think about Amar's set on Shadow for the 20 meter teleport on heavy ?
I actually wanted to equip dispatch, but it doesn’t let you equip it on his claws for some reason. Amar’s is interesting, I haven’t considered that for Sevagoth.

I reported it as a bug and never got any word back so I'm assuming this was intended. Why? I've no fcking clue why. Why can I give my Miter or Latron 200% cc and one shots a hallway of mobs, or any demolyst / acolyte. But god forbid shadow's claws gets the cc.
When it comes to Amalgam Argonak interactions, are there any that let you use Rakta Dark Dagger's passive well? Also, to contrast with setup-heavy stuff like Proton Snap, I'd love elemental mods that just passively turn on and off at very short and snappy intervals, that'd lead to some wacky builds. Also, how about ones that don't/only/differently affect the alt-fire/heavy atk?
I do really wish that playing as Sevagoth and using his Shadow didn't require such intricate setups and builds to be useful, even in base steel path. I bought the deluxe skin, and even threw some forma at him because I've always loved the concept of him, but it seens like all the builds are just 90% finding ways to make up for his inadequacies and if you spent half as much effort on any other frame you'd have better or at the very least much more comfortable gameplay. Really wish i could get more out of Sevagoth. Am I just dumb?
Sevagoth doesn't need this kinda setup, shadow claws can easily one shot anything on steel path no matter the LVL and these arcanes just made it even stronger, he's been great all along

Yes, but just remember you will lose glad stacks as combo timer on statstick runs down, and that if you build combo on claws, it will overwrite the glad stacks from your melee. So what you can do, is not build combo at all on stat stick, and only use it as a glad mod mule. Should work decently on Sevagoth.

Interesting! But you go into too much technical things. Most of players hate playing Sevagoth because he needs TOO MUCH preparation unlike other Warframes who are just "Press 4 FTW". The hardest thing is filling up his "Well of Destruction" (personally named that way) But this Can be resolved by just installing a grouping ability Ensnare, Larva, Pull etc. By using "Shadow haze" augment the plan is to group enemies then 2 and 1 and boom you are ready to go. After that just by making a corrosive/Radiation/Crit based build on his claws he can completely obliterate the entire map. HOWEVER!!! I have to give you points for the Melee based skill weapons didn't knew that you can activate them with his claws. You intrigued me to change my 2nd favourite Warframe's play style!

Khora got even more buffs with radiation being able to be put on diriga meaning u can rock 3 combinations and have more mod slots from the bond eximus one
2h steel path is roughly L300-500 on survival. The survivability of the build is rated to easily reach that. Above that, this setup is heavily dependent on how well you personally play.
He only needs 2 forma to be ok, as in, gets kills faster than life support drains. And that's an ability nuke build. Weapon platform, he can do 0 forma. Playing the shadow is entirely optional, which is why this was the second video along the line, specifically for those that want to use his shadow. You can already nuke everything on Steel Path using abilities, without his Shadow, and that setup as I said, costs 2 forma.
or... you could simply give sevagoth pure red shards, get 400 str, do pillage with 100% strip and giving you absurd survivability, then summoning a broken 400+ str multiplied shadow that has stripped enemies in front of him and do 200m dmg on a heavy

As a sevagoth main, i love seeing people use him, but i have one thing to say: dont use his shadow. His 3 first abilities are really strong, so your playstyle with him should be decided by the helminth ability. Either way, great vid, cheers lad
Yea sevagoths shadow is melee focused while sevagoth himself can also do alot too, debuff, give any weapon red crit and nuke rooms, baruuk is also great but he is just melee focused.

Even without bloodrush and weeping wounds sevagoth had super powerful melee claws. That heavy attack is insane even more with the tennokai mods

That's weird. I have tennokai on my Sevagoth shadow and Valkyr claws and i get the free heavy prompt.

And unfortunately the reap augment cannot buff the cc of your claws, no matter what you do. This I'm 100% sure of.

I mean, this is a major buff. Currently, Sevagoth is the only exalted frame that can benefit from melee arcanes at all. This uniquely affects him.
