Miele machines do two coffee and milk drinks at once (double portions of milk too) as well. BTW kudos to ECS Coffee, I picked up my Miele CM6360 and Technivorm Moccamaster from them and, later bought 6160 as a gift for my daughter. Great place to buy : )
Tell me about coffee dose sizing please. I read 12-15 grams for these models. The kf8 has 5 adjustments the 6/7 only 3 adjustments. So is it 1 gram bumps for the kf8 with an extra 1/2 step and 12-13-15 grams for the kf6 &kf7 ? How is this for dialing in compared to say jura that goes from 5-16 grams with 10 adjustments. Thanks, I really do appreciate your knowledgeable reviews
They are new so long term we are not sure. We were also skeptical. BUT they are solid. Made in Europe and all metal construction. Also Kitchen Aid is being very careful with this launch as they want to get it right. And honestly I think they have done a stellar job!
This machine definitely dispenses two portions of milk for a dual drink. I can fill a 16oz cup up on a dual drink with the espresso at 1.6oz. If the milk did not dispense double the amount it wouldn't get close to filling up the cup. Test it out by doing a single drink and then a double drink but catch the milk in it's own cups without the coffee and then compare milk amounts.
So many questions. I wish you would of went through a story board before filming. Can I make two normal sized cappuccinos at once? Can I make a 12 oz Americano? Where's the spent coffee and how do we dump it? Does the machine sterilize the milk hose or do we have to wash the hose after each use? What's the manufacturer warranty? What are the dimensions of the machine, how much does it weigh?
Thanks for the questions! We answer most of these in our video :) Yes you can make 2 cappuccinos at once, yes you can make a 12oz americano, the spent coffee is behind the drip tray, just remove it to remove the used pucks, the machine will sterilize the milk hose, manufacturer warranty is 2 years, the dimensions are 18-1/2" D x 14-3/10" H x 10-1/5" W, weight is approximately 27lbs

This machine does not cost that much. MSRP is at /most/ 2000$ US. Regular sale price has been 1700$ for the KF8 or if you have an insider pass it's only 1300$. Jura is nowhere close to that ballpark.
@@ecscoffeeinc which would you pick oracle jet or this? Also in some reviews they say the oracle jet doesn’t get warm enough for light roasts to remove the sourness you can get, did you find this?
I think the Oracle Jet is way too expensive for not being a super automatic. I am looking for a machine that a visitor can walk up to and make what they want without training.

Such a sleeker looking and quieter machine than its competitors. Love it!
Just got this and tested the default settings. The default is actually spot on imo. I dont have to mess with the grind settings
That's awesome!

The kitchenaid will grind between 12-15 grams!
Can you do a comparison between this KF8 and the Delionghi Eletta Explore?
On the list but not soon:)
I had no clue these even existed :-); I need to up my coffee game. How reliable are these systems do they have breakdowns? How would you repair?

Excellent Rebecca! I'm sold.
Hope you enjoy it!

Ya the x2 doubles the milk too

What is the talkest cup - I could have sworn you said it in the video, but now can’t find it.
How big is the brew basket ? How many grams of coffee b
12-15t I’ve read
@@dougheiser8187Thx ! I don’t get why these super autos always going for such a small dosage, really lame always the coffee so weak
@ that’s a big basket for a single shot, not sure what you’re talking about?

Great video - fyi the Delonghi Maestosa can make two milk-based drinks at once.
Thanks for pointing that out!
Can I double check on the duration of the warranty? Should it be 3 yr?
2 year
This or the eletta explore?
This is tough!! If you want iced coffee, eletta explore!
Eletta explore the best machine for me so far
Can this do iced lattes as well?
How do you think iced lattes are made?
@ wasn’t sure if it was an actual drink option like some others.
Does it come in another color? It’s not very pretty on the front.. Maybe it’s the color
Yep green and black!
And stainless steel!
What do you mean? It looks awesome
2,000 dollars. CRAZY EXPENSIVE
Of it is a dual boiler/heating element, the price is reasonable. I have a bezzera duo that cost $2,600 and that doesn't include the grinder.
Should always be milk first then espresso when making cappuccino
You can choose on this machine:) it is a big debate in coffee circles!
but no. Milk first almost always tastes worse.
brew assembly is the same as melitta and miele machines. so it's inside is well over 5 years old in design..
Yes this is true! If it ain't broke ;)
Kinda seems like Kitchenaid paid to have their name slapped onto a machine designed by a more well known manufacturer.
@@Smellslikegelfling this machines is definitely 100% KitchenAid!
Truth be told Kitchenaid doesn't have to even do that...this is in their wheelhouse of kitchen appliances to pull off.
For $2500 you can get a top of the line Jura. Do that.
These are made in the same factory as Jura's in Switzerland!

Canadian pricing is higher based on exchange rate vs USD. This is a Canadian company
Is there a machine she doesn’t like?
We don't sell the ones we don't like ;)
Same question, is there a machine out there she won’t swoon over, or are we just watching a caffeine love story in disguise?

Sorry but it‘s even more expensive than the new breville oracle jet. I know the jet also have some downsides but for me it‘s hands down the winner

For 2,000 i can get 250 cups from my local, support my community, and not mess with anything. Thats not including the actual coffee.
Yes you can!
So go do that then and quit talking about it
This means that this unit will pay for itself in my house in 6 months. Thanks for helping me justify this purchase.
