    It’s hard to get to this point with no coaching either for shot put or in the weight room. Any advice to get to this point with no coaching?

      Hi Luke! If you're interested we do online coaching and programming for throwers just like you who don't have a coach. You can send us video of your throws and we can do a technical analysis and give you cues to help improve your movement right here 👉 www.throwsuniversity.com/online-store/Technical-Analysis-p157553650 You can also pick up a throwing program based on your specific needs right here 👉 www.throwsuniversity.com/online-training | Hope this helps you out! We're always looking for more throwers to join the online Throws U Team 💪

      Hi Erika, I'm the ripe age of 62 but was All State in New Hampshire winter track in 1979, 3rd in Northern New England. 1. Technique 2. Strength 3. Speed. An average build with a good coach with tireless practice will accomplish results. But most importantly you need the love and desire for the sport.

      Creatine and protein is all you will ever need as far as supplements go.. If you are already taking those I would do some research into cordyceps. Those have really been helping me.

      what helped me (17 6'4 260) is A LOT of shadows, copying your technique while also using a heavier shot put

      best thing to do is to practice your form and research the other ways people have progressed through highschool/college

    Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

    You probably hear this all the time but, I wish I had a coach who is as amped up and as knowledgeable as you when I was in high school. Mine consisted of, "throwers, jog a lap around the track, then go throw, or lift some weights or whatever". So much wasted potential.

    If I throw a 50 can I get a scholarship?

    • @ty9621
      @ty9621 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Of course. A lot is about the programs needs and the coach. I threw 54’ out of high school and am currently on scholarship D1, but only because I had communication with coaches. If they see potential with your form, your body (height, build), and drive you can go to great schools.
