Story Summary :-
Op (F33) has been married to Joe (M33) for about 5 years. They met in college when they were doing their fellowship for one professor. Even though Op was an introvert and Joe was not, they quickly became friends. They hung out outside of class and eventually developed feelings for each other. Even though Op was the shy one, she was the one who asked Joe out. They dated for a number of years, but it was a long distance. When Op got a stalker, Joe moved to be closer to her. They never found out who the stalker was, but the cops managed to send him a message telling him to stay away. They did not hear from him after that. It is now years later, and Op’s husband (who is a freelancer) is actually away with his friends. Op gets a text from his friend Kevin claiming that he cheated and that she should leave. He then sent a blurry picture as proof. When Op calls her husband, it goes to voicemail. Her anger increases until she leaves her home and files for divorce. She also cuts off contact with Joe and starts living with a friend. A few days later, she visits Kevin to thank him. She inquires about his wife, Cecilia, but he says that she is away for the week. He offers to make her some food, and she goes to the restroom. She asks for permission to use his office to do some work, and he says yes. While she is in there, she is trying to print something, but when she gets to the printer, she sees a collage of pictures of herself. She looks through the rest of his office and finds disturbing evidence that he was her stalker. She gets out of there immediately, citing a family emergency. She immediately goes to Joe and tells him everything. Joe then explains his side of the story and tells her that the photo she got was photoshopped. Op and her husband will tell Cecilia the truth when she gets back. She, her parents, and Kevin’s parents confront him, and he tells the truth. He ends up in jail for what he did to Op. After that, Op and her husband move out of town and start over.

Frankly OP and people like her deserve nothing. Running off and refusing to even give your partner a chance to defend themselves because of very little evidence is crappy behavior. She trusted some jerk she hardly knew over the man she married. I could never stay with someone who chose to listen to someone else over me without even giving me a chance. I have no sympathy for OP.

How ridiculous! Must have been written by a 12 year old!! They went to Vegas and the WiFi was so bad he couldn't contact his wife the whole time...and his buddy got sentenced to 5 years in jail for watching her... What exactly did Kevin get prison time for? Being a creep? Lying? Emotional distress? Being a bad person? I was willing to believe this story until this point. You could absolutely get a restraining order, but being creepy isn’t illegal.

@@GSSAGE7 To give an idea, according to Pew Research, the median prison time for assault (not SA) is 1.4 years. Non-r*pe SA, the median term served is 3.6 years in prison.

I see a lot of comments saying OP husband should of left, not take her back. That is not how a real marriage or relationship works nor experienced one. Ive been with my man over 30 years. Did either of us cheat? No. Did we have problems and trustt issues Yes. Did we work on our issues? Yes. Was it easy? No.
Seems to me theres a lot of quitters or take the easy way out or people just shooting their mouths off

This is not a first time ive heard something like this.
When i was in the military a guy did this to a shipmates wife. Wrote letter and sent suggestive pictures to his wife. When he came home she and the kids were gone. She divorced him. His schmuck of a friend tried to date her when she refused he attacked her. She landed in hospital the guy was arested. Her ex was contacted because they needed someone to take the kids. They did end up getting back together again. So its not about destve but circumstances. Specially when you think you have proof and "Trusted Friend". You know the old saying people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"
