In this clip, Vlad asks Akon how he spent his first million. To that, Akon reveals that he bought a recording studio for $250K, before giving $150K to his mother and father. He also said that he gave each of his brothers $25K. Lastly, he put $100K down on a house and he bought a red Volkswagen Corrado.
Buying a studio, a house and giving money to your family should never be considered “blowing money” I get maybe it wasn’t the smartest way to spend it, but it wouldn’t qualify as being wasteful like buying cars and jewelry

Buying a studio was actually brilliant. He could charge other artist for studio time if nothing else didn't work for him. That is something I would consider doing and I'm not in the music business.

I was blessed enough to got Akon studio in Atlanta ga I got so lucky my friends knew someone who was going first time I went to a real studio with glass booth and cameras and plaques on the wall. changed my life ty Akon he wasn't even there. I was there with the renegades. great studio for young people to see and learn the game and be inspired
