Nice vid and beautiful countryside. I'm also working on building my gear system and tried the Axial Block pullover and pants. I still use their neck gator when needed. I use Magellan's Grid Fleece as my base layer and switched to Bilt's Blast 2 waterproof jacket (and pants) for colder (50F and below) weather. I've accumulated a few jackets now: Bilt Techno, Blaze, and now the Blast, as well as a perforated leather Harley jacket. However, the waterproof Blast is far warmer than the others, even with only a single (thermal) base layer. And kept me dry in today during a 75+ mile ride in intermittent light rain. Waterproof is definitely the way to go, although I'd recommend keeping the Bilt liner zipped in your jacket. You could also try a thermal base layer, but in the end, at least for me, a mesh (or even perforated leather) jacket just flows too much air to be comfortable below 50F. TWD
