Typing through tears but I never realized how much I needed this. I’ve been trying to convince myself that I’ve been fine with what was happening and felt stupid for how this fictional event with these fictional characters is making me feel so much anguish and heartache. I felt like being as devastated as I was over the manga was really dumb and irrational of me since the characters are just that, fictional. But the moment I heard “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.” I absolutely just bursted into tears. I haven’t sobbed this hard in a while ngl. Days of pent up emotion just overflowing from how worried I really was with what’s happening😭 Thank you sincerely for making this. Still feel kinda stupid ngl but I feel a lot better after that cry🧡
Hi, I've just read your comment and I felt I had to tell you this: you're not stupid at all for feeling bad about something you care even if we're talking about something fictional. I don't want to be or sound nosy but I used to think like that too, that's why I wanted to share my current opinion with you. After what happened in the latest chapter of MHA I couldn't control my tears. I wanted to stop crying but I simply couldn't. I didn't even want to leave my room since I was too sad and I didn't know how to tell my parents that the reason was something that didn't even exist in the first place. But, you know, gradually, I've come to understand that I shouldn't have felt that way for being sad about something. If what happened to Bakugou made me feel so shattered it can only mean that, for me, he, what he taught me, and all his ups and downs in the manga were something worth being loved and cherished. I don't regret the tears I've cried and those that I'll pour for him in the future because that's how I truly feel. For me, he (but also other characters in MHA and anime in general) was the refuge in which I found shelter when I felt lonely and lost. The reason to keep going when nobody in real life gave me one to be strong. Bakugou was an inspiration for me. He grew up a lot and never lost his strength even when things went bad. I've always admired his tenacity and I will never stop loving him even though he's "just" a fictional character. Nobody should feel ashamed for feeling something (happiness, sadness, or else) if their feelings are true. :)
Sorry for the long message...I always end up rambling when it comes to speaking about the things and characters I love the most. Thank you for reading this far and sorry again If I appeared nosy, it's genuinely not my intention.

I sincerely feel like he’s not gone, there just ain’t no way, but if he is then I’ll be fucking devastated too. Not trying to like, spread false hope I guess, but I’m not really freaking out over the fact his heart stopped bc I so strongly believe Horikoshi is a better writer than that. We probably won’t see him well again for several chapters but I truly think he’ll be revived.
Don’t feel stupid for feeling so strongly about fiction. We’re all attached to these stories and characters for different reasons, whether they’re inspirational, we relate or project onto our favorite characters and feel like they shape us, they’re who we wish we could be or have beside us, or even that they just resonate with us for whatever reason. It’s not a bad thing to be so empathetic or love a character so much-just because it’s anime doesn’t make it weird. Take care of yourself though, and have faith in Hori! I really don’t think he’d do this to such a fan favorite right as his healing and true journey to being a hero begins.
I've been feeling so stupid for this past few days... but I just cannot stop the tears and the anxiety. He may be a fictional character but he has been my comfort through depression and loss... I cannot lose him too. Everytime I felt like giving up, I heard him in my head "dont you dare give up now, we are not weak you dumbass" and just kept going. So I feel your comment. Let's hope Horikoshi saves this somehow, he has never been the type of author to destroy things recklessly and this felt so awkward and out of nowhere... this is not AOT, main characters don't just die in the middle of the plot without even fighting properly...

I'm crying while listening to this. I don't know why but ever since I started watching mha, bakugo really caught my attention. It's not because he is handsome or whatever, this man had a really good character development, passionate, a great hero. I don't know why people call him a "tr4sh" character. After reading the spoilers, i didn't cry at first, but when I heard this asmr, I thought that it's the right time to cry, because he's my favorite character of all time. And I don't wabt him to die. Wow wow wow I have to say Yuzuya I’ve been listening to the older nightmare comfort with Bakugo recently and hearing this new one the difference is like night and day! You can really hear your improvement over the year and even better yet Seiko’s characterization of Bakugo you two have really grown so much and the ambient music that helped with the mood change was just a cherry on top. This was a REALLY good audio and exactly what I needed right now so thank you to the both of you. 🖤 🖤🖤

Especially since I always saw him as someone that I could relate to, someone I can look up to, someone that, in the end, was close to me, as a friend or a sibling.
The "Don't cry" was perfectly timed as I was blinking and looking away, in a bus, to not cry and then 09:08
So yeah I legitimately cried.
I have such a connection with Bakugo that seeing his development made me feel proud and it gave me motivation for my own objectives. Listening to this and ignoring those chapters are my "therapy" in a way.
