Thank you so much for not editing out the flower you re did. I like seeing your learning process, it helps me know what to do and what to avoid doing! So glad you kept that all in.

Those flowers remind me of calla lillies They would be beautiful done in violet and vermilion. They are very pretty. I agree w you about the stem. Maybe a string pull that goes back and forth. I’ve never done a string pull. But I’m definitely going to try it doing your flowers. Thank you
My pleasure, Tammie. The violet and vermillion color combo sounds great. I hope you have fun giving it a try! 👍🌸

Hola muy bonito pero tiene su dificultad

I put a thin layer of black for the base, but it turned the yellow flowers dark. What did I do wrong?
I think what might have happened is that your yellow paint is transparent, so when it dried on top of the black you could mostly only see the black - resulting in dark flowers. It can be difficult to work on a black background, it's definitely easiest to work on a white background. However, if you want to work on black, I'd only use colorful paints that are opaque. (If you look closely at the details on your paint bottles they should indicate whether the paints are transparent, semi-transparent or opaque.) Hope that helps!
Thank you so much
