Hey there, bike enthusiasts! Welcome back to another adrenaline-pumping episode of Motorcycle Rewind. Today is a special day because we're finally taking our Honda CB77 Superhawk out for its first ride in years. This baby was a real beast on the road back in the day, and we've spent countless hours in the garage to bring it back to life.
In this episode, you'll join me on the Superhawk's epic comeback ride-only, spoiler alert, things don't go quite as planned. Yep, just when we thought we were cruising smoothly, the bike decided to pull a fast one on us. I'm talking "zero to hero and back to zero," as we completely lost power and had to, brace yourselves, walk it all the way back home.
But hey, that's the name of the game, right? Motorcycles, especially vintage ones like the Superhawk, are a mix of sweat, gears, and sometimes a few tears.
So, whether you're a seasoned rider, a mechanic-in-training, or just love the smell of motor oil, this episode is for you! Hit that 'Like' button if you enjoy our journey with the Superhawk and don't forget to 'Subscribe' to Motorcycle Rewind for more vintage motorcycle adventures and misadventures.
Rev those engines and let's get this show on the road! 🏍️💨

My Dad had one of these when I was a kid. I used to ride it in a field behind my house and race kids on dirt bikes. I would usually win on the straightaways, but they took me in the corners. I believe I was around 12 years old at the time! Cool old bike!
They are such cool motorcycles.
Back in the day I was riding Honda 50' & 90's. The 305 seemed so big at the time. Now they are tiny.
Great video
I know. Especially since I have been logging miles on the GPZ.
In the late 90's i rode my Yamaha DT 125 to work and run out off gas i had to push 2Km i never forget. It was Fall but i sweat my ass of...
I wish it was Fall!!! It was hot here in South Louisiana. 🥵
Man you didn't even break a sweat. I'm in central MS and I'm drenched just watching you. Lol
Joe, I was sweating in the inside!!!😂
I really enjoy your channel 👍🏻 I would love some stickers for my garage cabinet doors. Do you have any?? Thanks! The little Honda is really cool 😎
Stew, we are having some stickers made. Would love to send you some. Thanks for watching.
I live at the bottom of a hill so at least i can roll home😄😄😄😄
Lucky!!!😂
I live at the top of a hill 😢
First bike I ever rode. Tried to stop it with my feet! I got better.
That's awesome! Thats what happens when you grow up watching the Flintstones!
Hey, sometimes you have to take a walk after a shakedown run. Howard had great advice!
The universe telling me I need to exercise more. 😂 Never ride ‘em further than you want to push ‘em.
Pushing a bike for a few miles definitely counts as exercise..
Gotta get your steps in!!!😂
It at least looks somewhat flat out there. It would be awful to push in a place with lots of hills.
You ware so right. It is flat here. Thankfully we just get hot and humid.
Sucks that the bike decided it needed you to push it Eric. My suspicions point to the newly rewired headlight shorting out, just a hunch. 🤞.
Should be something easy. There are only 14 wires in the harness. I can check them all. Will let you guys know exactly what it is.
At least carry a playing card and a clothes pin with you
That damn looks chain sounded just like I had cards in the spokes. 😂
