This used to cost 2.5k but now is 4.5k...even though there is a lot of variety...items are simple and honestly how much can 1 person eat..I mean golgappe is 50 rupees item so honestly not so worth it.
The earlier price of 2.5k was much more attractive...
Unless you are really rich...I do not see a point in spending almost 5k on street food items which honestly are best done by local Street vendors...but like i said...if you have money to splurge then why not
They must have bought it from a sweet shop nearby, also I like your expressions as though eating something out of the world

I had High tea at Taj last year and everything from the food to ambiance and service was PHENOMENAL! I also sat at the exact same table as you guys lol 😂. Anyways, waiting for the next Mumbai trip to go back!

@@ishantdoshi6765haha, I totally get your point! It’s quite pricey. Since I’m still a teenager I can’t earn money so, this was a birthday treat from my parents. Obviously you don’t absolutely need to go here since Mumbai has a huge variety of amazing and cheap local food! 🫶🏼
As a middle class person,my daughter give me treat on my birthday ,it was also her first salary at a mnc.i got teary eyed,was life time experience for me😊

Vaibhav I hard relate to your love for scones. I LOVE scones and honestly in Bombay you don't get good scones EXCEPT at TAJ. Taj scones are SOOOOO good and hit the spot. I've had high tea there many times. But a few times I've found it hard to get a table there and the staff can be snooty. However, the food is so good. And you're right its not high tea its more like breakfast, lunch and dinner rolled into one. Price is insane. I went there only for my birthday celebrations. Isn't in 2.5k. I don't remember ever paying 4.5k - that's an astronomical amount!!!!
