I feel like we need an on going segment called 'Fun Facts with Devlin' where she reads historical markers and tells about the places your visiting. Looking forward to the upcoming trip. :)
As always Alfy a great slice of Canada which many don't get to see, so thank you both for bringing it to us. Really looking forward to the vids of you guys sailing the inside passage. Hope you get some footage of Campbell River as you go by, one of the best places I ever lived in!
So glad you enjoyed following us along for this little outing! We are super excited to get back on Moonshine and bring her down the coast and we'll be passing by Campbell River for sure!
Was nice getting to watch your videos of the north, up there, while it lasted. Have a safe trip you two, both on land and the water when you do head back over again.
We are still getting used to seeing ice on the water in June! haha But it is breaking up fast now. If we don't get over to Gabriola this time, we'll make a special trip later to see you! :)
Hi guys, Glad to see you out and about. Thank you for sharing. I hope all is well with you and yours. Nice calm shots of the wilderness, good weather and wild life. AND!, that attack bird when you left the parking lot. I thought your camera was a goner when it flew towards it. Nice to hear you"re getting some time off to sail. Sounds like a big trip. 500+ miles inter-coastal is a long one. Can't wait for you to share the journey. Cheers guys, Best wishes 😀 Jay
Very fun to explore this part of the country and we had a good laugh reviewing the footage and realized that bird went up to the camera. ha We are very excited to get back on board and make the big trip south! Stay tuned! Alfy & Devlin
Fort Smith is my home town so I'm sorry you didn't get there. I think there's a lot to see in Fort Smith - not just Bison. Of course, I'm just slightly biased. :)
So where is the boat ending up? Vancouver?? Is it more convenient to travel that direction when you have free time? Cheap flights? A good highway? Anyway, inquiring minds want to know!!! Im sure there are fewer bison and wolves right?
The boat will stay in Vancouver as it will be much easier to fly from Yellowknife to Vancouver. :) Good chance we'll see wolves on the coast, but no bison. hah
Hey Alfy, Do you know if Shelter Island still allows liveaboards? Hell of a time finding dock space 😬 thought u might have some contacts there still. The site says no liveaboards.
@@lifeislikesailing I just bought my boat after years of the dream and searching. since I travel for work and am away quite often so I am longing to be on my boat
Don't forget to give a THUMBS UP and COMMENT if you are excited to see us cruising the INSIDE PASSAGE! Fair winds from Alfy & Devlin
Can't wait for the inside passage series!
👍
Intriguing and thought-provoking, music complements, doesn't overwhelm, excellent use of ambient sounds to enhance nature's reality.
So glad you enjoyed this one. :)
Another very interesting video. Great photography. A part of the world we don't see enough of. Looking forward to you sailing again.
We are enjoying Canada's north and seeing all these new things, but excited to get back on s/v Moonshine!
Awesome,Granville.
I'm looking forward to your next video.Blessings!
Thanks and stay tuned!
I'm looking forward to your cruising the inside passage.
Yet again what a beautiful country you live in, looking forward to Moonshine again.
It sure is an amazing country and the north has been great for exploring so far! But stay tuned for some BC cruising very soon!

That would be a great segment to have during our travels and she loves telling the history of places. :) We push off tomorrow so stay tuned!
Wow those bison were incredible. And can’t wait to see you two on Moonshine again!
They were incredible to see in person and we are very excited to be sailing down the Inside Passage!
Good to see another of your videos, Alfy. Buffalo are so impressive! Looking forward to seeing you back on board Moonshine.
Glad you enjoyed it and they sure were impressive! We are excited to share the sailing content soon!
That crow wanted his parking lot back!
He sure did! ha

Thank you and so glad you have enjoyed seeing a bit of Canada's north! We are very excited to get back on the boat so stay tuned for that! :)
When you get to Vancouver, you should do a meet and greet! I would love to say hi and swap stories with you two.
Bryan from Vancouver
We are looking into having a meet a greet so watch for it on the FB page. :)
Can`t help noticing how very pretty Devlin is looking and she seems to be more engaged in the video.
I think the same thing. :)
That was cool looking out at the ice! Great to hear your going back to the boat! Hope you get a chance to stop by on your way down.
We are still getting used to seeing ice on the water in June! haha But it is breaking up fast now. If we don't get over to Gabriola this time, we'll make a special trip later to see you! :)
You should do a short video when you get back on what you did to store/winterize the boat while you were gone.
Not much to do for winterizing boats on Canada's West coast, but a little to do for putting it away of course. ha
can't wait until your on moonshine again ! SAILS UP !
We also can't wait!! :)

We'll have to check out Sweden one day I think! :)

Is there sailing on Great Slave Lake? A yacht Club? Annual regatta?
There sure is! Great Slave Lake Sailing Club and many boats here for the summer months. :)
That was Devlin changing after a swim? 😜⛵️🇨🇦
lol
Hey Alfy, Do you know if Shelter Island still allows liveaboards? Hell of a time finding dock space 😬 thought u might have some contacts there still. The site says no liveaboards.
As far as I have seen, they do. I'm down there every two weeks or so, but they might be full tho...
Bryan from Vancouver
Not sure as I left there a few years ago, but as Northerflite Productions said maybe they are full up for now?
Ya, probably full up at the moment I guess?
I was just about to ask if you missed your boat and then you mention the next vids will be back on the ol girl.
I miss her dearly and we can't wait to get back on board!
@@lifeislikesailing I just bought my boat after years of the dream and searching. since I travel for work and am away quite often so I am longing to be on my boat
I know how you feel. :/
:)
do you ever forget a camera when you drive off like that?
I haven't yet! haha
Alfie, did you film Devlin taking a leak? :)
She would probably murder me if I did that. hahaha
@@lifeislikesailing But then the Canadian authorities would set their best forensics expert on the case. No, wait ...
