Good ad for Midnite. Will be interesting to see how it works in really good wind, with occasional dumping. I have a 24v i1500 ista. Great turbine. My controller is $30 worth of volt sensing switch and truck relay. Plus 5x300w truck cabin heaters for dump load. Works great and I get 300 to 800 watts in 15 to 25mph. Typically 2 to 4kwh per day in winter months. Have seen peaks of 1300w in gusts. Have looked at the cheap Chinese controllers (the ones with green casing plus big green resistor) but ther get poor reviews. Would love to have a Classic but a bit too expensive for me. Howd you find the i700?

ista breeze turbines will hit there rated speeds the off grid homestead needs to be a hybrid system to reduce generator run time over the winter.the i 700 is now flying on the young fellows camp

@@offgridgarage Agreed. I have 1100watts of solar running into 800ah of leadacid bstteries. The ista does a great job of keeping the batteries up. I have a diy transfer switch that flips to or from grid when the volts go too low. Look forward to seeing more on your channel.
