not necessarily but it does... feel me? it makes it grow at normal speed but a little faster. and dye can kill the hair if you did it wrong.. so if your hairs dead from the dye you might hsve to start over

you can add a little conditioners just don't pick it or comb it and yea, you can tie it after you dye it but you probably shouldn't
