Have you ever considered taking a family trip to Universal? Is it better than Disney or Cedar Point? We are here to help you plan out the perfect Universal Orlando Vacation!
In this video, we are joined by our friends for their first time at a theme park!! We started our morning at City Walk at Universal Orlando Resort. We grabbed donuts at VuDoo donuts for a quick pre-park breakfast.
Since we are staying at Universal’s Endless Summer Dockside Resort, we were able to enter the park early for early entry. And our first ride of the day was the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. The 3-D effects combined with nostalgia makes this ride a classic.
Our next attraction was Skull Island: Reign of Kong. This attraction is a screen based ride that features King Kong fighting Dinosaurs, making it a thrilling 3-D adventure. Next we rode Jurassic Park River Adventure, which features multiple animatronic dinosaurs and a large drop.
We then visited a real life baby velociraptor
at the raptor encounter. Thankfully Blue the Velociraptor was unavailable… because that is a scary encounter!!
Our next ride was the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Followed by what some claim is the best attraction in the park…. The Cat in the Hat.
For dinner we decided to the leave the park and have dinner at Toothsome’s Chocolate Emporium. This is a steampunk Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory inspired restaurant located in City Walk. Overall the dinner was visually stunning, but was less than average in taste. The desserts were great, and we highly recommend just going for desserts.
