I just switched from the k3 Reko as my putter. The MVP Electron Nomad has replaced it. I'll keep my k1 Reko as a throwing putter, but man, the Nomad just feels amazing in my hand and putts drastically better for me personally than anything else I've tried. Just personal feel preference. Nice floaty glide, super consistent releases, and center pole hits so much easier for me with it. 🔥
@@DaddyDelpDiscGolf I actually haven't thrown a Nomad, but putting with them, at least for me personally, they are exactly what I've been looking for. Slow, floaty, shallow, and has the Aviar like angle rim for my finger to set on. The Reko was missing a finger spot as it's rounded, no flat pad for a finger, so I slightly curled it under and just never felt 100 confident with it but was the best putter I've used, until... My buddy brought over a Nomad in Electron. Did 5-6 putts and immediately pulled out my phone and ordered multiples of same color/weight ect and it's a noticeable improvement in putting accuracy. For me personally, idk about anyone else. Haha
I’ve been using the Nomad as my putter for months but just picked up a K1 Reko at my local store and have been loving it. Might actually try them as putters we will see.
My first thoughts were discraft but that may be wrong. Maybe Innova, maybe infinite with like an EV-7 sponsor. Owner of EV-7 left prodigy to start that company so you never know
Confirms that there's a massive stability difference between k1 and k3. Of course there is between base plastic and premium, but not normally to this extent with new putters. Glad I got the k1 because that k3 is uselessly understable to me.
Yea I will say that this disc does seem to have a bigger gap in stability from base to premium plastic compared to other discs. The base is good for easy hyzer flips or just low power turn over shots if you throw putters a lot but outside of that it will only do the one thing lol.
@Daddy Delp Disc Golf I throw putters A LOT. The problem is it's already that flippy new. And it's base plastic. So as long as the disc remains flawless and never hits a tree, rock, chains.. would be a great turnover putter 😂 straight spin putts though.. I can see that's where it would be money once it's beat to shit.
Yea I feel that lol. I usually keep 1 super flippy putter for those weird shots that I can’t get power on but need it to anny the whole way but those shots are not often but I can definitely see it being a good straight putting putter though
Haha I haven’t had that option the last 3 years on street team, so I got use to regular putters getting that understable haha. But I could throw them now if I wanted lol
I mean I have reviewed every Kastaplast disc now, (2 coming out soon lol) but at time that was only other putter they had haha. But I couldn’t tell you how many I’ve reviewed with way more glide than a 3 lol

I’m honestly throwing a nomad right now and have been thinking of trying to putt the Nomad. Might see them in videos coming up

It doesn't have much glide compared to keystone or others though
Maybe not as much but it flew pretty far for me but it has 1000% more glide than a Berg lol which was my main comparison for glide
you couldn't find anything with more than a 3 glide, to bother with a review?
