It actualy already kind of exist ! In Monthy Python Holy grail pc game, the first mini game is tetris. But instead of blocks, you have cadavers :) (and sometimes an old guy still alive who constantly move and say "I'm not dead !...")
Actually, the guards now have different weapons in the game. They can have Glock 17, MP5, Shotgun, SAW and of course a Desert Eagle. There are many of them, so if you kill them you'll get to wield two Desert Eagles!
Really? But I swear I saw some guards carrying Desert Eagles... maybe they spawn with one of the weapons randomly? Also, sometimes they don't have helmets.
I remember seeing one in "Office Complex" which was the Barney that you are supposed to help kill a zombie so he could open the gate for you and gain access to more ammo.
Weird name. Doesn't even make any sense and sounds generic as h*ck for a shooter, like naming it "day of defeat" or "team fortress". Probably someone trying to make a mod based on Call of Duty. I'd recommend you try Ricochet. That mod was so good, Valve made a fully released sequel. I've been waiting for it to reach the esports scene.
You CAN find 2 deagles in the campaign, IF you get lucky, Barney’s can hold SMG’s, Saws, and Deags, along with the standard pistol (and I believe the revolver) meaning you can dual wield them, it’s literally just RNG however.
The thing I like about this mod is that it's more akin to something like Beautiful Doom. As mindbogglingly sweet as it can be to tear things apart in Brutal Doom, one of its main problems (the other being how much in stolen assets and code are baked in) is that it clumps on so much that it almost feel like a bogged down parody of ultra violent shooters. With this you get some of those neat enhancements so it feels like adding a touch of flavor, whereas something like Brutal Doom changes up the core gameplay to the point of feeling more like you're drowning a roast in 20 layers of ice cream and curry. Glad to see Brutal Half-Life isn't reaching that level. Can't wait to see this mod completed and hope it sticks on its current path.
I loved Brutal Doom and happily completed all the existing "official" Doom games, even the ones I never got around to completing when I was still a kid in the 90s. And now I'm excited to try out the Brutal HL.

Honestly I recommend people who want to play old games play the brutal mods. They modernize the game and patch the old things. The originals are fine for old guys like us but it's just easier to put your little brother in front of Brutal Doom then it is to with the orginal
The sequel that sticks out to me the most as a brutal mod is left 4 dead 2 You can blow out backs, groins, chests, half of heads, gut zombies with melee weapons and intestines fall out. Shits wild.
They should add that when a monster is downed you can revive it and it will just run away until it despawns out of sight, meaning that you can help them.
I want them to add the ability to dual wield Hivehands P.O.V style, that was one of my favorite parts of that mod. (there are two hivehands in the game already btw theres a second one in the ammo storage before you go to xen)

3:42 actually you can if you find 2 barneys with desert eagle you can kill them and take their gun however it's random because barneys spawn with random gun in every walk through but you can find two of them just keep killing the barneys they are useless and this mod makes killing them more fun

Both queens have BFGs from Doom,Pawns have AK-47s,Knights have ballistic knives,Bishops have all the weapons from all of the Priest movies,Towers have Level Three Sentry Guns,and the King has a nuclear missile.

Killing floor 2 being considered as a brutal mod is sort of a tda understatement as one day in the days of yore I was playing with some friends and lets say we painted an entire hallway red, and i mean THE ENTIRE HALL WAY, the ceiling, the walls the floors evne the corners, It was a slip in slide of blood also iron sights for weapons is something that shooters have spoiled me such as far cry 3 and fallout new vegas, but when i try and go back to a poor attempt of iron sights or you extend your head forward slightly, that makes me go ugh
Now I'm feeling kinda relieved that I wasn't just bad for playing on Normal after getting stuck on Hard :D It really did feel quite harsh, I just couldn't handle the On a Rail chapter. Now that I know the placements and the game, maybe I'll play on Hard sometime ^^
I swear brutal mods make the game good in alot of cases, take wolfenstein 3d brutal mod for example, you could taunt your enemys,you get more high quality guns,and when you hit a knight you get its axe or hammer i forgot what it was

Im not sure if they're randomized but there is a RPG barney but you only see him in Zoo map. (sucks yeah and op)

maybe you can try manually dropping the blue shift maps into the brutal mod's folder and then play the maps via console?
Blue Shift does have different armor system and arm models.

Quick note on the gold-source engine. The dual-wielded weapons most likely use separate models so they had to make that entire model.
Two Years Later, there isn't really many custom maps for this mod and it's still in beta.. :( hopefully they are still working on it

Half-life is hit scan. This is absolutely not what's happening. It wouldn't matter at that range any way. There's just some hit detection problems.
