    I like Quincy he seems pretty normal and down to earth for someone who grew up so privileged I think those of you who are getting a stuck up vibe from him don't understand that he can be very shy/nervous in interviews probably because they are constantly asking him about Diddy.

    Although Puff adopted Quincy at 3, Quincy was actually raised by his grandmother, Kim's mom, until he was about 14. That's when he started living with Kim on a regular basis. But Puffy and Kim's dad were his father figures. Kim was only 18 when she became involved with Al B Sure! and had Quincy at 19. He was 23 and already had a child with someone else. According to his Unsung, they had a bitter break up because he had a child months before Quincy was born with another woman.
    If you follow this timeline, Al had his a record label first, then Puff got one. Al was pursued by Andre Harrell and became his manager. Puff pursued Andre. Al was responsible for getting Jodeci a record deal, co produced and co wrote their first album. Puff was only in charge of their image. After Andre Harrell left Uptown to run Motown, he took Al along with him to help him run it. He fired Puff before he left Uptown. When Al and Kim broke up, Puff started dating her. Shortly after that, he adopted Quincy. And Puff also, got another woman pregnant months before he and Kim's twins were born. Now who knows why Al chose to give up his parental rights to Puffy, but Al is very spiritually grounded, humble and isn't the type of man to abandon his child. When you're young, you make mistakes.
    Al was a hit producer, who actually discovered Faith Evans, Dave Hollister, Anthony Hamilton and Jodeci. He was also a mentor to Puff, along with Heavy D and Andre Harrell. As we know, Faith went on to become the first lady of Bad Boy. Following the timeline, it seems as though Puff wanted everything Al had and ended up with it, including his son, while Al fell by the wayside. And Puff also, got another woman pregnant months before he and Kim's twins were born. Al was very humble, giving and nurtured other artist.
    Puff was much more flamboyant, an attention getter and always looked out for number 1 first. With all due respect to Al, that's how one has to be to become a mogul. No one can knock Puff's hustle. HE DID THE DAMN THING! But Al wasn't a slacker either. He saw Quincy as much as he could when he was growing up. But when Kim and Puff got back together in the early 2000's, that all changed. Puff was a good man to adopt another man's child, but I've always questioned out of all the women in NYC, why did he go after Kim? He ended up with the success that Al was on his way to. Once again you can't knock Puff's hustle, but it just makes me wonder. IJS...

      Woooooow, THANK YOU for this in-depth analysis. Why didn't Al do right by her and marry her? Or Diddy? Why would a woman like her and men of those means never tie the knot?

    Lookin' just like yo' fine ass daddy, *Al B. Sure!* Quincy, ya'll need to cut that out. Just because he couldn't provide for you at the time..... Nevermind, that ain't none of my business and Imma leave it alone. Now, as for yo' "career" in "music," you are really gon have to set yourself apart from Chris Brown and all his little wanna-be's. I'm sure Puffy can help, but it'll look way too obvious. You can sing, but it's nothing groundbreaking by any means. You just need the right "song." Yo' best bet is to do the Chris Brown/DJ Mustard thing.

    • @LaCheleWallace
      @LaCheleWallace 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mechacelzi He's no Johnny Gill. Hell, he's not even on Justin Timberlake's level, vocally. Imma have to group him with Jeremih or any of those little Chris Brown non-singing wanna-be's.
