I just want to comment here where everyone can see it that Destiny is talking too close to the mic and his voice is sounding a bit too ASMR-ish, especially because he has a breathiness about his voice, which isn't a good thing for a non-intimate podcast like this. He does the same on the Anything Else podcast too, whereas he sounds normal when he streams. I think the guest in this podcast keeps his mouth at the perfect distance from the mic and Destiny should try to emulate that. I'm someone who is very sensitive to sounds and this thing has been bothering me ever since the two podcasts started and I keep commenting about it, but the powers that be don't seem to be noticing it.

I still can't tell if JREG's injury is real. He's very lucky to be a content creator who can easily do frequent collabs with friends. While using little effort, no interpersonal drama or rivalry, and not having to live together with them. Circumstances like that isn't easy to achieve in the content creation world.

It's called the "Peter Principle" when you were referring to somebody that was good at their job behind the scenes then got "promoted" to a streamer and ended up being bad. The theory is that eventually everybody gets promoted until they end up in a position they are incompetent. Just because somebody is really good with "Task X" doesn't translate to mean they'll have the same success in "Task Y" Usually this applies to people who were good at a mid-level position where they were only responsible for themselves, then promoted to management and they have no skills in managing a team or social skills. They've become incompetent because they should've stayed doing what they were good at.
That's not what they're talking about. They're not talking about people who are bad at streaming, just people who were really good at being behind the scenes, partially due to qualities that also made them good streamers.
